THE WILLS: CLASH OF HEROS
Chapter 3 - Justin

Chapter 3 - Justin

The pair continues to walk down towards the direction of the park. They finally make it there but there’s no time to chat as their simple “Walk” has now turned into a slight jog and now a Full on Dash. It begins pouring rain as the two keep moving their heads up and back down trying to look at upcoming obstacles while not being completely blinded by the extremely harsh burst of rain. “That’s the thing about Floria’s climate, You can always expect the unexpected. One minute it’s bright and sunny outside the next you’re being drowned by rain” Ashley would say as she wipes her forehead. The pair would begin to run alongside each other then fan out a bit. Ashley looks up and taps Imani on the shoulder and waves. Imani looks back up at her as she throws her signature Peace Sign gesture yet again. Ashley makes for a sharp left and heads down the block, Imani makes a straight dash running across the street and onto the next block. She keeps running for 11 or so more blocks until she comes to a moderately sized yellow house with a brown roof and severely rusting gutters. She runs up the stairs to the house and burst through the door.

She’s met by a moderately tall woman with a familiar black pony tail (although a bit shorter) . The woman looks Imani directly in the eye before grabbing her by the cheek’s and squeezing her tight as she goes in for a hug. “MY BABY!” The woman yells. Meet Mrs.Walker. Chair woman of the “Walker” house hold. She is familiar in looks to Imani although much older yet, you can tell she was quite athletic back in her younger days.

“Hi, Mom” Imani would say as she smiles and returns the hug. She stands back up.“Where’s dad?” Imani asks, Her mother’s vibrant.. happy face turned into a slight smirk as she replies “You know your father”. Imani responds with the same facial expression. She then runs past her mother and up the stairs. As she comes to the hallway, she stops and pauses as she looks at the brown door located straight across from her room. A door tag would display the name “Justin”. Imani stops and looks at the door as she thinks back. She would have a vision of her much younger self playing with a small boy who appears to be around the same age. He would have short black hair and, brown eyes the classic “Walker” facial features. Although something is strange about this boy in particular. He doesn’t seem to be smiling much. Infact his facial expression would say the exact opposite of someone who’s having “fun”. Imani would come back to her senses as she quickly turns around. She opens her door with the name tag displaying “Imani”. She then walks in and slams the door. A few feet away out of sight Mrs.Walker stands mid way of the steps observing her daughter. Her eyes would squint and facial expression would become somewhat displeased, as she steps backwards slowly and heads back down the staircase.
