I started walking towards the next cage. Another hamster in it, this one looked pretty normal. It started hissing at me as i got closer. When I was in front of the cage it backed up. Weird... it didn't attack. I lifted up my trusted crowbar holding it by the bented end and I pointed the other end towards the hamster. I waited for few seconds to aim properly...and I thrusted with all my strength!

That... was unexpected. A venomous one huh, I wonder how this one will change my body. I pulled back my crowbar and left on the floor. I looked down at my hands... more accurately my claws. I tried focusing on them with the thought of lengthening them. Immediately they grew out by at least 8cm. With a surprised look on my face I retracted to the point that they were around 2cm. I lengthened them again.

And slashed at the cage slicing the hinges apart. The door immediately fell on the floor. I reached in with my hand and grabbed the hamster. I can eat it without any worries because all of it will turn into energy. i started with the head putting it whole in my mouth. Biting off it's head, cleanly severing it from the neck. I must say the crunch was pretty nice. After eating it a notification appeared.

I felt my mouth salivating. I spat on the floor and my salive was greenish. Hmm... this time it didn't hurt at all. And i even gained two skills! That was pretty awsome, now... two more to go. The next cage had a turtle in it. It had spikes on it's shell that looked really sharp. Hmmm I glanced at the crowbar on the floor then again at the turtle.

Crowbar won't do..... then i saw my salive and i got an idea. I'm... gonna spit at it, the turtle was looking wary at my approach. I gathered as much salive as i could and started aiming my cheeks puffed. The turtle looked confused. Right at that moment i spat directly at it's face. I was lucky i hit it on the first try or i might have had to break it's shell with a crowbar, and that would take a long time and make a lot of noise.

The turtle immediately retracted it's head back, and started trashing around. After few minutes it stopped moving, it still looked alive, which means i have paralysis poison! I slashed the door and then did the same with it's neck. It showed some resistance seems like it's harder then steel. I grabbed the head and ate it first my teeth went through like it was nothing.

Then i grabbed my crowbar and used it to split the shell in half from the neck down prying it open. Then I started eating the insides, that part was easy now it was the time for the shell. I broke it apart from inside, what was left were fragments. My teeth were strong enough to break them so I started eating immediately. After swallowing the last fragment a notification appeared.

I stood there in silence for a second. A lot just happened. Then i felt like something was crawling under skin. Followed by a burning sensation. It was very uncomfortable but it didn't last long. After it was over i let out a deep sigh. My skin felt tougher then ever and i felt a weird sense of control over my hair. Just as i thought all the hair on my arms turned into spikes. I stared at it in awe for a few seconds.

A surprise for sure but a welcome one. But I am gonna test this skill later with the other ones. Only one is left now. I picked up my crowbar and went straight to it. In it was another turtle. But this one had some weird pattern on it's shell, like flowing water. As I got near the cage it opened it's mouth and fired a blast of water right at my face.

Just as it was about to hit me I used charge and jumped to the side dodgingthe blast. It left a small mark on my left cheek but it was quickly healed. I was now on the floor about 9 meters from my former position. I smiled as i got up and thought to myself, this one will taste the best!

I crouched down and went near the cage. Quickly putting my crowbar in front of the cage, and pulling it back. Immediately after that another blast of water was fired, as expected. I did it a few more times but from different angles until i noticed, they were weaker and weaker. Until they were like a squirt gun weak and harmless.

I then got up and saw the turtle laying down limp. I slashed the cage like before and sliced it's neck of cleanly, blood sprouting out of it.
