A long thick black arm arced across the grey skies, striking where Grusha stood. She stood still unflinchingly, sending a powerful pulse and creating a sparkling dome. The arm exploded and splintered into metallic shards that fell to the ground like snow. Static did not allow this to faze him, he went for a slightly less direct approach. Two arms boroughed into the ground from opposite sides of Grusha, electricity and energy that beamed black and white lights from the earth sent the ground rising.
Her legs shook from the violent earthquake that occurred beneath her, flows of energy swirled from all directions that enveloped around her, statically charging all the particles in between the two arms. The magnetic forces centered on her, crushing her under pressure from mass that was piling up on her. Grusha vibrated her quills angrily, sending another pulse that discharged the particles and sending it to fall to the ground.
Twisting her neck sideways, her joints popped loudly. Bouncing off the ground, she flew across the sky like a flying torpedo aiming a direct hit towards Static, he lifted his palms and erected a pillar to block her pelting attack. Shockwaves sent cascading winds across the landscape, an inordinately large and destructive explosion rocked the lonely landscape.
The pillar snapped in half and came toppling over in a thundering whine, Grusha stepped on top of the stumped pillar and grabbed onto the falling piece. Lunging forward like a deformed night with a ghastly and monstrously large spear, she aimed for a powerful strike against Static. Catching her by surprise, she never expected him to take the initiative of moving forward with a frontal attack, being the notorious coward she had always considered him to be.
Static controlled the mass of a pillar he sat atop of and lunged forward towards Grusha, using the debris to mask his approach. His scent was pungently strong everywhere, so she could not tell the change of his positioning. Specks of black dust amassed on his right arm and glowed a bright white, he landed a successful massive blow against the elusive beast. Sending her whizzing across the sky.
Grusha lost her grip on the makeshift spear she held, letting it continue falling to the ground. Static reached out for the pillar and thick streams of electricity sparked from his palms to the black piece of metal, the metal halted its downward course and hovered in the sky. He then whipped his arm across, sending the pillar-spear after Grusha in midair in the same instant that she was struck.
Expanding her quills in wide frills, twisting and turning in abnormal forms, she readjusted her positioning in the air and aimed herself towards the missile tossed at her. Using her quills to slow her down, she closed the gap between her and the pillar and landed on top of the metallic chunk. Latching on to the piece of metal again in her sharp long fingers that tore into it, she twisted her hip and used unbelievable strength and agility to swing the piece of metal around, landing a powerful strike against the base of his pillar that detached him momentarily from the mass as a whole.

Flaying his arms viciously around, Static came crashing forwards to the ground. Numerous tendrils of black metal stretched from the falling pedestal he stood atop of, reaching for the base that held him high and foolishly proud.
Grusha streaked across the pillar that amputated his pillar, a simple blur of her existence as she flew from the bar. Static, almost in seemingly instinctual reaction, stretched his arm across towards Grusha. A dark ball exploded from his fist, firing a large magnetic ball of dark static energy emitting from it towards her. Clamping her mouth shut, she braced herself for the impact.
Remember your pact. Wildebeest hissed in the back of her mind.
“As if I’d ever forget!” Grusha roared in the air.
Beams of light glowed from her eyes and quills vibrated as a dome was being formed around, the impact of the dark ball collided and fought against the energy barrier that she formed. She was sent crashing into the ground, but stood her ground as the barrier held its own against the barrier. A large humming whine through the barrier that sent earsplitting screeches that would deafen a person, with a final brace, Grusha put forth everything that was left in her into her legs and forced her way through the dark ball.
A wide-eyed charred man awaited her past the ball, defeat was inevitable, just as promised. Grusha grinned for the fraction of a second as she jetted through the air. For him, she knew all of this was happening faster than he processed it in his own mind, while it transpired in slow motion in the eyes of Grusha.
Twisting around, thick needle quills erected from her backside, hundreds of needles impaled the confused man Static. His skin was anything but like that of a normal living creature, void of any soft human flesh. The quills cracked and quivered from his solid rock-like body, and momentarily large streams of energy streamed from his body into her, sending powerful volts of shock coursing through her.
“AGHHH!-” Static roared in the setting night sky, sending his voice cascading over the frozen and swampy landscape miles away. The same instant, numerous lightning bolts stretched across the sky, with them in the epicenter of the event.
Grusha’s body went limp and the light in her eye darkened, passing out from the effects of being overcharged by the large amounts of energy she was absorbing. Weak chuckling laughs croaked through her throat.
“For you, Enigma, Enyo, and foolish Aput.” She said in crackling voices.
As her mind began to shut down, Wildebeest spoke words that promised her sleep would be short.
Don’t think our business here is concluded, Grusha.
Balls of light and darkness rose from the earth, floating about freely like solidified bubbles. There was a serene jingle that came from them, something lighthearted. A song that sang words that only she knew what they meant.
Thank you. Was what she heard, from the young child's voice.
