Prologue

When he opened his eyes, the sight that welcomed Liu Bao was the ceiling looking like a foliage. It would take him some time to get up, look around and then finally understand that it was not that the ceiling was made to look like a foliage, it was just that he was lying on the forest floor. So, when he finally understood the condition and the place he was in, he couldn't help but question his situation. After all, just some time ago, he had happily brought the Nvidayo RTX 6090 for his PC so that he could finally play Crimson Redemption 5 on his heavily riced Arch desktop that he spend hours working on just to make it have basic functionalities. But, as the fate would have it, this absolute numbskull forgot to (Yes, he indeed forgot to) install the new drivers for the GPU. So, when he started playing it on his 8K monitor with RTX on and graphics set to highest, it was only after 30 seconds of consistent 190 fps, that he started smelling the smell of burning. But... it seemed like he was too late to have noticed. By the time he could even prepare himself to turn off the switch for the PC, it combusted.

This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.

It would have been a scene worth experiencing for anyone but him to see his transparent CPU box with massive fans light up with orange instead of it's usual violet lighting. But for him, it was death. Literally. He had spent 6 months of his savings to buy that GPU. And now, it was on fire, literally. But the things didn't just stop there. Next thing he knew, he heard a loud bang from his locality, and *woosh*! He was nowhere in his room to be seen.

That was when he woke up from his deep sleep in that peaceful, dream like place.
