“Hey, buddy, is there anything I need to prepare?” Chang Le asked as he tossed a giant orange from the coffee table to Shen Xingkong.

“Nothing much. When is your ‘auntie’ coming over?” Shen Xingkong snapped out of his daydream, refocusing on his grand plan to make money. Maybe one day, he too could own a luxurious house like this.

“Hahaha!” Chang Le suddenly burst out laughing, then leaned over to Shen Xingkong, whispering in his ear, “What auntie? She’s just one of my dad’s friend’s mistresses. If you really do a good job on her face later, don’t hold back too much, or I’ll lose face.”

“You little rascal, I know what to do. Hehehe...” Shen Xingkong grinned, eyes narrowing as he imagined a future where money flowed into his pockets.

Dinner was also at Chang Le’s place—eight dishes and two soups, filling the entire table. Normally, Shen Xingkong would have eaten heartily, probably enough to last through tomorrow, but tonight his mind was elsewhere. It was his first time trying to make money using his unique abilities, and he wasn’t sure how it would turn out. So, after a few bites, he put down his chopsticks.

After dinner, Shen Xingkong and Chang Le returned to the living room and chatted for a bit until the doorbell suddenly rang.

“Ding-dong, ding-dong…”

“Coming, coming.” The housekeeper, Aunt Wang, quickly ran to the door and opened it, letting in a woman in her thirties.

The woman was dressed flamboyantly, with a pretty face that exuded a seductive charm. She wore a tight-fitting skirt and carried an LV handbag—a typical sultry beauty.

As soon as she entered and saw Chang Le in the living room, a smile tugged at the corners of her bright red lips, and the seductive glint in her eyes grew stronger.

“Xiao Le~~ Auntie is here.”

“Hehehe!” Chang Le stood up, grinning wickedly as his gaze roamed over her body, not caring that she was nearly ten years older than him. “Auntie Song, you look stunning today. If you ask me, you don’t need any beauty treatments at all—girls in their teens or twenties can’t compare to you.”

“Xiao Le, you’ve got such a sweet mouth. Auntie loves it.” Auntie Song was obviously pleased by Chang Le’s flattery. She walked over and lightly pinched his face, then turned her gaze to Shen Xingkong.

Unlike Chang Le, Shen Xingkong wasn’t wealthy, and his low-key personality showed in his somewhat old-fashioned clothing. Plus, he didn’t pay much attention to his appearance, and his hairstyle was out of date. To put it bluntly, he was the kind of person who would be hard to pick out in a crowd.

A hint of doubt flashed in Auntie Song’s flirtatious eyes. She couldn’t believe this unremarkable young man had any real expertise in beauty treatments.

Chang Le, sensing Auntie Song’s skepticism, didn’t rush to explain. Instead, he pulled Shen Xingkong over to his side.

“Auntie Song, this is my classmate Shen Xingkong. His family has been renowned doctors for generations, and they’ve even served the imperial court. You might not know this, but his great-grandfather once served Empress Dowager Cixi in the palace, specializing in beauty and wellness. He’s now the sixth-generation heir of these secrets.” Chang Le’s talent for spinning tales was impressive. He often used his silver tongue to charm countless innocent girls, and now he was putting it to work on Auntie Song.

“Hahaha, is that true?” Auntie Song looked at Chang Le, her smile becoming more reserved. After all, she was ten years older than these boys and wasn’t so easily fooled.

“You’ll know whether it’s true or not after you try it. Lao Chang, prepare a room for us,” Shen Xingkong answered Auntie Song’s doubt with a calm, serious demeanor that almost made him seem like the sixth-generation heir of a royal physician.

“Alright~~ Aunt Wang, clear out the guest room on the first floor. My friend and Auntie Song need to use it,” Chang Le immediately instructed the housekeeper.

A few minutes later, the guest room was ready. Shen Xingkong, Chang Le, and Auntie Song entered, with Chang Le closing the door behind them. To be honest, even he didn’t have much faith in Shen Xingkong. If Shen Xingkong made a fool of himself, at least the closed door would keep anyone else from seeing it.

Auntie Song was a regular at all the beauty salons in Z City, so she knew the routine well. As soon as she entered the guest room, she casually removed her jacket and lay down on the bed, closing her eyes, ready for Shen Xingkong to start the beauty treatment.

But after a long wait with no action, she opened her eyes, puzzled, and looked at Shen Xingkong.

“Sorry, but my beauty treatments use traditional Chinese medicine techniques, so you don’t need to lie down, and I won’t be touching your face,” Shen Xingkong explained calmly.

“What?” Auntie Song sat up in surprise, looking at Shen Xingkong as if he were a strange creature. “If you’re not going to touch my face, how are you going to give me a beauty treatment?”

“Cough, Lao Shen, are you sure you know what you’re doing?” Even Chang Le couldn’t understand and whispered his concern to Shen Xingkong.

Shen Xingkong ignored Chang Le. He looked around the room, walked over to the window, and yanked down the curtains. Holding the fabric, he returned to the bed and flung the curtain over Auntie Song’s head.

“Hey, what are you doing?” Auntie Song was getting annoyed, feeling like she’d been tricked by these two boys.

“Don’t move. During the beauty treatment, you can’t watch. Lao Chang, you need to leave too. This is a family secret that can’t be revealed.” Shen Xingkong grabbed Auntie Song’s hands under the curtain and began ushering Chang Le out of the room.

Chang Le was utterly confused now. Initially, he thought Shen Xingkong was just bored and trying to scam some money out of a woman by making up a story about a family secret. And he didn’t mind. After all, if Auntie Song’s money wasn’t taken by his buddy, someone else would. But now, things were getting out of hand. Shen Xingkong had covered Auntie Song’s head and was kicking him out. Was there some sort of twisted plan behind this?

“Lao Shen, you…”

“Get out. Don’t you trust me?” Shen Xingkong gave Chang Le a hard look, signaling him to leave quickly.

“Oh~~ Okay, I’m leaving. If you need anything, just shout. I’ll be right outside the door.” Left with no other choice, Chang Le slowly walked out of the guest room and gently closed the door behind him.

After ensuring that Chang Le had left, Shen Xingkong lifted a corner of the curtain over Auntie Song.

“Auntie Song, please extend your right hand. I’m about to start your beauty treatment.”

“What kind of beauty treatment is this, with all this secrecy?” Auntie Song was highly displeased. If it weren’t for her “husband’s” friendship with Chang Le’s father, she would have walked out by now.

Shen Xingkong couldn’t help but feel a little nervous. He reached into his waist pouch, took out the leather needle roll, and pulled out the magical bee-tail gold needle. Earlier that morning, he had used an ordinary needle to deal with Xu Jianhui, but it hadn’t triggered the heat flow within him. Clearly, only the bee-tail gold needle could activate his special abilities.

He placed a pillow under Auntie Song’s right hand so that it rested comfortably, then gave her a heads-up before proceeding. “This might sting a little, but I promise it’s just a tiny prick. Don’t be alarmed.”

“Oh, just hurry up already!” Auntie Song was getting impatient and just wanted this over with.
