I wanted to say thank you for reading. I really appreciate your time. This has been a fun past time for me, and I’m glad it has gotten me into writing more.

There are a few things I want to state about The Wandering Knight.

Due to life, I have not had a lot of time to write lately. So updates have been coming slower and slower over time. I apologize for this.

As I review my work, I am unhappy with a lot of it. I feel that my pacing is either too fast or too slow, and much of my dialogue is very rough. Characters are inconsistent and things feel very forced. This is due to my lack of planning when it came to the story.

Originally, when I sat down to write The Wandering Knight, I intended it to be episodic with “villain of the chapter/arc” settings and a general, simple plot. However, due to my own inexperience, the story quickly spiraled into a mess. I feel that a lot of plot points have been sloppy and many action sequences and story beats are poorly executed.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

So overall, I would like to do a reboot.

It will be a while before anything is posted. Probably a few months. But, I believe that with this rework I can make what already exists much more polished and have a more natural flow to the plot. My goal is to maintain an atmosphere similar to my first two arcs, with more horror and supernatural elements.

I will leave the old chapters up. I will probably add an [OLD] title or something to them as the newer chapters come. I think that the best way for me to release the series going forward is to do it per arc rather than chapter in order to avoid this issue in the future.

I apologize for the frustration, but I feel this is the correct route to go.
