Prologue

(Hey guys, 1 here. 0 has to do exams for… a few months -_- so, I’m going to write this for a while without him D: So, if it’s horrible… blame him! It’s not my fault that he’s not here to keep me in check… now, with that out of the way, here’s the prologue. I really hope you like it :D)

“Where am I?” I thought as I looked around the void-like place I was in.

“What happened?” I questioned as I began to remember.

“I was hit by a car on my way home… my name was Yamamoto… why can’t I remember my last name!?” I thought in worry.

“You can’t remember your last name because it’s useless. You’re not going back there… for at least a while” A man appeared, scaring the living shit out of me. His face was extremely disfigured… half of his skin was missing and the skin left looked like the man was previously a supermodel or something. He was wearing a long black robe and white gloves.

“Who… who are you?” I asked in confusion.

“I am Razakeel, the god of calamity… and you are going to be my champion!” He said confidently… or arrogantly… eh, same thing.

“What if I refuse?” I asked… and he laughed.

“Hahaha… you can’t” He said with a grin… half grin.

“Wha- that’s bullshit! You can’t do that! I have rights” I shouted in anger.

“I’m a god. I can do what I want… and, no. You don’t” he replied calmly.

“...Fuck it, why me?” I asked.

“Well… you know how you were hit by a car?” He asked.

“Yeah…” I answered.

“Well, after you were hit… the car hit a lamp post. Which crashed into a truck full of oil. Causing it to crash and burn… blowing up an entire street and killing the man who would’ve cured several cancers and saved the life of a war hero in the future… so, your death caused millions of deaths… if that’s not a calamity. I don’t know what is... and that’s why I chose you” He said with a smile.

“So… my death… killed… millions” I said in sorrow.

“Yeah, but it’s okay. The asshole driving the car also died” He said with a… half smile.

“How is that okay!?” I shouted in response.

“Kid, it’s not your fault. it’s that assholes” He said.

“Then why didn’t you grab that asshole instead?!” I asked in anger.

“Well… my older sister Eritha, the goddess of justice sort of… grabbed him, right as he died… he sort of got grabbed by her… instead of you. I was just a second late… so I chose to grab you” He said.

“What!? That’s not justice! That’s the opposite of justice… it’s… unjust!” I shouted.

“Hey, not everything is fair. Look at me.” He pointed at his face. “This was because I made a single mistake and unleashed a monster upon a world… a few hundred… thousand years early!” He said.

“Fuck it! Just reincarnate me or whatever!” I said.

“Alright… just have to seal your memories until you’re sixteen” He said.

‘Why?” I asked.

“So you won’t have an advantage over the other “heroes”... but, here’s the fun thing… you’re not going to be a hero. You’re my calamity… my Walking Calamity” he said with a smile as the void took me.

“Congratulations Ma’am! It’s a boy!” A man said joyfully.

“...Ma’am, what are you going to name him?” The man asked.

“...” She didn’t reply.

“Ma’am? Are you okay?” He asked. As he checked her pulse.

“She’s dead…” He said solemnly.

“So, looks like I should look after you for a while… Yamato” He said with a weak smile as he took me into his arms.

“Waaaaaa~” I cried.
