All things are made of energy, this is a concept as old as life itself. And although the meaning differs from civilization to civilization, they all have similar understanding; 

The world's raw energy, is the root of all life, it exists in different forms within all living beings; humans, beasts and plants alike. It exists in the air we breathe and the food we eat, it is everywhere around and within us.

There are two forms of energies that stem from the raw energy in this world; mana and vitality.

Mana is a form of spiritual energy that governs the realm of space and time.

Vitality is a form of physical energy that governs life, it is essentially the life essence of all living beings

A living being is comprised of a soul and a physical body.

The soul is made of mana and therefor interacts with it.

The body is made of vitality and therefor interacts with it.

If a living being is depleated of either its mana or vitality, the living being dies.

The art of manipulating mana is the art of understanding your soul.

The art of manipulating vitality is the art of understanding your body.

Living beings are able to absorb the world's raw energy and then transform it into mana and vitality.

This process happens naturally, different living beings have different absorbtion and transformation rates and different capacities. This explains why some people are naturally physically stronger than others, it also explains why some people are spiritually more grounded and mentally more developed.

Every living being is unsconsiously absorbing raw energy since the day they existed, whether it be through eating, breathing or through simply living their daily lives. The energy absorbed in this way is thin and small in quantity, therefore, it is naturally transformed without any conscious effort.

In contrast, there are conscious actions one can perform in order to actively better interact with this energy; two of which are:

- Physical training; is the art of manipulating the body, it increases the absorbtion rate of energy and the transformation rate of vitality. It also increases the body's capacity to hold vitatity through the strengthening of organs, and its ability to manipulate it through the stregnthening of blood vessels and energy cores. 

- Meditation; is the art of manipulating the soul, it increases the absorbtion rate of energy and the transformation rate of mana. It also increases the soul's capacity to retain mana, and its ability to manipulate it.

In this world, there are those who actively interact with energy and are more sensitive to it than others, those are known as; magicians and fighters.

These people follow one of two main paths: The path of magic (related to mana), and the path of body (related to vitality ).

Vitality and mana are of different nature, therefor, a person can only master one path while learning merely the beginner levels of the other path.

The path of body: those who devote themselves to physical training and the art of vitality manipulation, whilst practicing the rudimentary levels of mana manipulation, in order to gain basic abilities and spells to complement their physical training.

The path of body has two main classes and a rare one:

Assassin: those who focus on dark and shadow arts of mana manipulation, whilst training their agility and acuracy.

( this is a rare class, as not many people are able to endure the excruciating pain that comes from their ruthless training methods).

Warrior: those who focus on power and destruction arts of mana manipulation, whilst training their strength and stamina.

Knight/Paladin: those who focus on protection arts of mana manipulation, whilst training their endurance and stamina.

The path of magic: those who devote themselves to meditation and the arts of mana manipulation, whilst practicing the beginner stages of physical training, in order to strengthen their bodies to better endure the strain of mana usage.

The path of magic has three main classes and a rare one:

Elementalist: those who specialize in controlling and manipulating the forces of nature, they can control fire - wind - lightning - water and many more of nature's elements.

Wizards/sorcerers: those who train in special types of magic; setting up arrays, performing illusions, teleportation etc. they usually use magic equipments to augment their magic.

Magician:  those who specialize in using runes and chants in order to cast their magic and spells, the more complex the chant or rune is, the more powerful the magic is. 

Mages: are a hybrid high level magic class, they can learn many spells from different schools of magic, they can combine and perform more than one spell at the same time.

(this is a rare class, as it requires an high aptitude to mana and an exceptionally strong soul in order to bear the burden of mana usage).

Deviants: people who do not fall under the two main categories are called deviants, they are extremely rare people, almost one in ten thousand only can be called a deviant and is able to gain special abilities, some of the deviant classes:

Necromancers: those who tread on the precipice of the underworld, capable of controlling life and death.

Witches: a group of female mages, dedicated to practicing magic that cannot be practiced except by females.

Beast tamers: people who are able to communicate and tame magical beasts.

Bloodwars: high level vitality manipulators, capable of manipulating and controlling the blood of living beings.

Summoners: capable of summoning different spiritual beasts to their sides to aid them directly or indirectly in combat and other needs.

The void: the void is a unique class, it is believed to be a myth, only mentioned in tales.

People who belong to the void class have an extremely unique physique that is basically hollow inside, resembling the void itself, this allows them to absorb and transform energy at a much faster rate than others.

Neglecting the law of opposition of different types of energies and bypassing the restrictions set by it, It allows void people to fully train and develop both their mana and vitality manipulation, allowing them to learn any and all classes including deviants.
