Chapter 1: Life before reincarnation

Chapter 1: Life before reincarnation

My life has been far from normal, my mother died when I was young, my father became a drunkard and we could barely eat three times a day. My biggest dream was to go to school, because of my family's circumstances that would be practically impossible. We live in a slum in the west of Mumbai, India. This being the case, I can only speak the local language-

"Hey, you girl. Come here", said a white man in English standing a meter away from me with a frown on his face.

This is where my linguistic problem kicked in, far from being able to reply, I could not even understand what he said. *Sigh*

As I did to everyone, I ignored him..

But I guess he took that to heart and God knows why was so offended that instead of asking whatever he wanted from someone else he came towards me in big strides taking advantage of his long legs.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"I am talking to you, are you deaf or dumb?" , he said with an annoyed look on his face.

Before I could think, I heard my father's voice -

"Bhawika, where are you! The roof's leaking! Fix it. Now!"

I took that chance to excuse myself and got out of the uncomfortable situation but how the hell would I know that it was the last time I heard my useless father's voice, I took the most sturdy looking ladder and climbed it, it was matter of second before I fell down because it literally broke and bam, my life flashed before my eyes. Unfortunately there was a brick right there which was eagerly waiting for my head......

My head felt hot and then cold, too cold, I couldn't move, fractured ribs maybe, nobody was around and to be honest I had a feeling that this was the end. As I the seconds passed by I fell into a deep endless abyss and lost consciousness.

"What a cute baby!!" , squealed a female voice, I opened my eyes and I could not comprehend what I was seeing, what the holy fuck was that, not a human, definitely.
