Like every place that had once been nice, Club Kocchi Muite was now a dive. Ero jī came there to prey on nubile young women, hoping to deceive them. Even so, it was the best dive in the city. With Hell set loose upon the land, and VioLinja still rampaging, the part of the world inside Club Kocchi Muite was kept calm and clean.
To be fair, bishōnen and bishōjo preyed there as well, seeking comfort from the wealthy by offering their friendship to those who could afford it. The young men and women who found sponsors at the club had oftentimes been hired first as dancers, bartenders and bouncers. It was good work for those who lived on their own. Kocchi Muite offered a safe haven, and if a woman behaved while presenting herself, she could stay for as long as she liked—so long as she remained pretty. The men who were hired as bouncers and bartenders often lingered after their workshift ended, adding extra layers of security and support.
