After dropping Bonnie home I also went home. It was a quiet and awkward ride home with Bonnie keeping constant silence and me not probing further questions for her so she won't misunderstand.
As I parked my car and went inside, I met John in the dining room waiting, seeing me he walked up to me and greeted.
"Good evening sir."
"Evening to you too John." I smiled.
"Seeing you smiling sir, I guess you found what you were looking for?"
"Yes, I did. John." I held the ember crystal between my thumb and index finger for him to see.
"This is it?"
"Yes."
"And it's quite alright to give it to her?"
"Yes."
"Hmm. I would like to accompany you, when you'll find the out the truth, sir." John seemed excited.
"I'm going to give this to her tomorrow, and I wouldn't mind you accompanying me? But it will take a couple of more days until the next full moon."
"I would like that." John bowed.
"Good…good night John."
"Good night sir."
Saying that I went to my room and went to sleep. This time I went through the same dream again.
It seemed as if I woke up in hell, I felt pain in my chest and my back, I even saw hell before my eyes. Everything felt so unreal yet I knew it was there. That's when I realized someone was tapping my chest, with their index finger.
"Huh?" I opened my eyes, it was her. She was clad in a blue dress, with a white apron and white gloves. She had long smooth auburn hair that reached her waist and that's about it.
Standing next to me, as her violet eyes flashed with a hint of worry.
She was standing right by my side, her violet eyes so bright I could see her even through my eyelids. She was dressed in a white elegant gown. Her smile was so bright that it could give light to my entire world.
"Did I make you worried?" She asked innocently, I was confused.
"Umm...no."
"Oh…then why are you crying?" She asked as I calmed down.
"I'm not crying."
"You know Einer that you can't lie to me"
"What?"
"You know I mean, you have sorrow, hate, pity and anger in your eyes, but you're not crying. You know you can cry Einer. I know you're the strongest person in this world, but you can't hide this from me."
As I listened to her I felt an intense pain in my head, it felt like my head would explode in any second. I again looked at her and image of her blurred in my view. Memories about our conversation were becoming vague.
"I…I don't know who you are." I said confused.
"Einer, listen to me." She said as she sat next to me.
"Who are you?" I asked while looking at her worriedly.
"Einer, listen, you have to know me. I'm the person who loves you the most in this world." She said nervously as she took my hand in hers.
"I don't understand what you're saying." I said trying to take my hand back from her.
"Listen to me, I've told you countless times and you always forget about it. I told you this many times. I told you that I love you Einer, I always wished to be together with you. I love you, do you remember that? Do you remember our conversations? I've told you that I want to be with you forever. You know you have to understand me eventually. You have to remember all of it. You've to remember them and what they've done to you, to us."
"I…don't remember."
"I told you that I wouldn't lose you Einer, and I'm not going to lose you. I'll always remember you. You have to understand me and you have to trust me. You have to know that I loved you and continue to do so always."
I looked at her, my head hurting and I felt heavy. I put my hand on her face and wiped her tears away.
"I can't remember anything, who are you? How do you know me?" As I put these questions to her she looked at me angrily.
"No, don't you dare ask these questions to me. You were the closest thing dear to me, you was my companion through my toughest time, my light to this dark world, you was my one true love as I was yours and they took you away from me. They took everything away."

"I don't know you. I don't even know myself." I said confused as I clutched my head hard.
"No, how many times I have to tell you? If you forget me, then I won't be able to exist in your world. You are the one who I loved the most. You had to remember that, but you forgot it all, even your memories about us are gone. You're not remembering any of this but you will remember me. That's why I'm still alive, because your memories of me are still there in your heart. I won't let you forget about me Einer. I won't let you forget about our memories. I won't let you forget about us. You have to remember us Einer." She said crying endlessly.
I was trying to listen to her, but my head hurt more and more and I felt as if my soul was being ripped apart. I kept on seeing images of my past. The images came so fast that I could barely follow them. Then everything stopped. I saw this beautiful woman, she was standing there with a sad look on her face. She looked
exactly like the girl standing next to me. She had crimson tear rolling down her expressionless face. She looked at me with her emotionless eyes and opened her mouth to speak and let out a loud incoherent screech. I looked at her, a tear rolling down my face.
I woke up looking at the ceiling of my room and turned towards my east. Morning sun rays were entering the room from the windows, peeking through the white curtains. I sat up and tried to remember the dream I went through but all I could remember was the women and her vague words.
She looked the same as the women I've painted before and she was telling me to remember something before I woke up, but remember what? That was the question that's been bugging me for a long time and finally I'll get those answers. While thinking about it I got up and went for a shower, when I got out of the bathroom I went to check the time it was 7:15, I quickly got dressed and went down stairs.
As I reached the dining room I saw John sitting there. He stood up and greeted me.
"Good morning sir."
"Good morning to you too John."
"I've already prepared everything sir."
"Good, good."
I went to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water, I stood there for a moment in silence and started thinking.
"Sir." John said as he stood by the door.
"Yes?"
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm just thinking."
"Of what?"
"About her John, The dreams have returned but you don't have to concern yourself with that. I'll soon find the answers to all of them."
"If there's anything else bothering you sir, I'll be glad to help."
"Thank you John."
~
It was 10 O'clock in the morning. I was sitting at the mystic grill, waiting for Bonnie. I looked at my wrist watch, she was 20 minutes late. I've a mild feeling that she's not going to show up today. As I stood up from my seat, I heard a doorbell ring and looked towards the door to the restaurant and saw Bonnie come in. I sat back down with my usual smile.
She was wearing a blue jeans with white top and had a backpack with her. She came up to me with her expressionless face and sat down. She looked at me hinting for me to start talking. I took a sip of coffee from the cup I was holding and spoke,
"You know, most people say that we can't control our destiny, my theory is something different."
"And what theory is that?" She furrowed her brows.
"You can control your destiny and it all depends on how much effort you are willing to put in and how much you want to achieve."
"But that only applies to doing things, you can control your destiny, but how can you control the destiny of others?"
"Well, that depends on how, but I'll tell you about that later."
I took a sip of my coffee and continued,
"I have an interesting theory regarding the human race, there are two kinds of people, the first kind are people who are destined to live, they have a special kind of power in them, they are kind of like superheroes with more power, speed, strength and some have a special ability like magic, and that's what you are."
"Hmmm... I see." She looked a little intrigued.
I took a sip of my coffee again and continued,
"The second kind of people don't have these kinds of powers and abilities, but they delude themselves into thinking that, they're superior. That, they are the one who make all the decisions, but they're wrong. They just don't know the whole truth. They comfort themselves into believing that the stories the heard about the scary monsters, just be stories. But they don't have the first clue about how truly wrong they're."
"Is that so?"
"Yes, that's why I'm here to tell you about magic, but first tell me, who do you think is better between the two kinds of people?"
"Well, I don't know."
"Of course you don't." I took a sip of the last bit of coffee left in the cup and looked at the open sky through the restaurant's window.
"I do. People with magic powers, they're better, because they are able to live, they are able to do things that the second kind can only dream of doing."
"So the people with magic powers are better?" She asked.
"No, not just better, they're the ones who can live a normal life." I said with a meaningful look.
"You mean, they are the only ones who can live a normal life." She gave me a weird look.
"Yes, now, let's talk about magic."
She didn't reply but leaned forward to listen.
"Magic is the ability to control others' destiny, it's a hard thing to do, and not everybody can do it. It's pretty hard to explain actually but in short, you can save someone life with magic, or take it from them. You can slow down time or speed it up. You can kill or you can heal, you can make someone live forever, or you can make them die at the age of 20, or you can make them fall in love with each other, you can make anyone do anything you want, but you have to know one thing. You can't change the past, you can only change the future. You see, everyone has a fixed destiny, but not everyone can see it, in fact, you can see each other's destiny but don't know what it means. Now, you know what magic is, and who you are, and what you are capable of."
"And, what I'm?"
"Well, like your grams always told you. You're a witch, Bonnie and so is your grams." I chuckled.
"And, how do you know about all this?" She asked while glaring at me.
"Like I told you Anderson family have a long history with this town. I may not have been raised here but John told me everything about this little town before I moved in."
She looked a little tense and asked, "And where can I learn this magic?"
"Of course in your grandmother's grimoire."
"Grimoire?" she asked with a questioned look.
"Yes, a grimoire is a collection of witch's lifelong journey and spells, but you've to be careful with magic, if things go wrong. It has its disastrous consequences, and it'll be best if your grams doesn't know about me." I answered.
"Well, I see." She got up from the seat, and decided to walk towards the door, but before she took her first steps, I stopped her.
"Bonnie, you have to be careful with magic and you've to keep my secret, even from Elena." I looked in her eyes and spoke.
She gently nods her head in understanding and walked out of the restaurant's door. As she left I took out my handkerchief from my pocket and coughed some blood that I was holding in due to again using my authority. I looked at the leaving figure of Bonnie through the window and my lips automatically curved upwards revealing a mischievous smile.
'Oh, I'm waiting for you Emily. I'm waiting for the full moon.'
