Prologue

-----------.........----------

"Do you really think this will work?" I asked, casting a skeptical glance at the shadowy figure behind me.

The figure nodded slowly, eyes closing as its soul was drawn into the book I held.

"I suppose I have no choice but to trust in it," I sighed, my frustration evident.

As I descended to an underground chamber filled with advanced technology and artifacts, I couldn't help but lament the absence of warning from the once-revered gods. Tens of thousands of years ago, they had gifted us with magic and power, transforming our world and its inhabitants. We embraced the change, believing the gods to be benevolent guides, until the day they descended upon us once more. Our perception shattered as these gods, clad in armor, revealed their true nature.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, I faced a sleek, futuristic door. I had designed it myself, alongside my comrades—my children, now gone for many decades. Yet here I stood, resolute.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

I refocused, inputting the password and subjecting myself to iris and voice recognition scans.

"お かわいい 事" [O Kawaii koto]," I muttered.

"Moving on," I stated, embarrassed.

The door sealed behind me as I entered, activating an array of machines with a soft hum. A synthetic voice greeted me with formal respect, reminding me of my divine dominion over realms both human and godly.

"Greetings, Lord of all realms and ruler of man and gods alike."

"Your sarcasm persists, even at a time like this, Gaea?" I remarked dryly.

A mature woman emerged from a capsule across the room. Tall, well-endowed, and bearing lustrous green hair resembling sprawling forests, she wore a business suit with a katana at her waist.

"Why the katana?" I inquired.

"It's unnecessary, isn't it?"

She smirked. "You know me, I can't be without it."

I rolled my eyes. "I wouldn't have expected the goddess of nature, one of the primordials, to embody a kuudere milf with mood swings and a battle lust."

Her eyebrows raised. "A milf? And I'm younger than you think!"

I snorted. "Come on! You're older than this planet, that's like over four billion years?!."

"So what?! Hmph!........Are you finally resolved?" Gaea asked.

I hesitated before nodding. "Yes, on my way here, I absorbed the other primordials and gods of our Chaos order."

Gaea's tone softened. "It's time then. Don't get all sentimental now, after all the insults."

"Thank you," I whispered, sincere.

Her eyes softened before regaining their edge. "Don't let sentimentality fool you; I've got your world covered."

After our farewells, I adjusted my world's interior to accommodate another primordial's essence. Settling on a couch, I opened a manga, reflecting on the upcoming journey.

If my conversation with Gaea was unclear, time would reveal its significance. Fatigue crept in, and I yawned, acknowledging the unpredictability ahead.

As I drifted into sleep, the relic stirred, consuming my soul but struggling with the boundless energy. It shattered, scattering fragments through space until they'd reunite and call forth my reincarnation, billions of years later.
