Hi! My name is Mikel Valmor, and today is my fifth birthday! Cool, right? Oh, and did I mention? I’m from the Valmor family!
If you don’t know about the Valmor family, let me explain! A long time ago, back in the Era of Magic, when the Hero and the Dragons gave us magic, there were ten people who were incredibly talented at using it. One of them was my ancestor—Gull Valmor, the first head of House Valmor!
After the four kingdoms collapsed and became the Maxima Empire, those ten powerful individuals decided to make a name for themselves. They became respected leaders and founded the ten ancient families. Together with the Imperial Family, they form the strongest forces in the empire!
Let me tell you about them! The ten ancient families are:
House Valmor
House Walpagros
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
House Spore
House Magika
House Kelua
House Soufers
House Honds
House Gosu
House Jeng
House Vufla
It’s a long list, I know! But here’s the easy part—some families specialize in swordsmanship, and others in magic!
The Swordmasters are House Soufers, House Gosu, House Spore, and House Jeng.
Mages are everyone else! (That includes my family, House Valmor!)
Together, these families make up the Council of Elders, the second-most powerful group in the empire—right below the Emperor himself!
Now, let’s talk about magic! In our world, there are ten main magical elements:
Water
Fire
Earth
Wind
Wood
Rock
Lightning
Illusion
Light
Darkness
Everyone is born with affinities, meaning they have a natural connection to certain elements. The more affinities someone has, the harder it is to master them all—because training gets spread too thin! My father, the current head of House Valmor, has Light and Flame affinities! Isn’t that amazing?
Well, that’s everything I know for now! See you next time!
