“What the hell were you doing to that girl you piece of shit!” Joe's voice boomed, his rage evident in his hardened expression.

“What I do to that girl is none of your business.” Red fully straightned, snapping his spine back into place. He did the same with his nose and readjusted it, despite an audible crack occurring in the process. He spat out more saliva as he checked how many teeth he had lost. By the look of things he had only lost 4. The others were cracked and his mouth continued to leak blood.

Red wiped his bloody lips before giving Joe his full attention. “All the waiters in that store are mine. What i do with them, has nothing to do with you!” Red announced, his tone bitter.

“They're yours?” Joe asked.

“That's right! All of those girls are mine! Mikey entrusted them to me. Those kids are not yours to worry about. I can discipline my property however I choose.”

“They're your property?” Joe snapped. “What bullshit! Those girls belong to no one! They were born free and they aren't yours to control”

Red chuckled darkly, “that's funny that kid, that really is funny. But I'm sorry that's just not how the world operates. The ones in power will always be the ones in control.”

Red crouched low before he slammed his right palm into the earth. [Skill Activation: Summoning] Immediately a blue light manifested on the rocky surface. The light took the form of a wide circle. Several runes, similar to the ones Joe saw in Stan's bracelets were drawn inside the glowing circle. Red smirked, before the earth rumbled.

Joe nearly lost his footing but he stabbed the black blade into the surface, and used its handle to maintain his balance. The magnitude of the earth's vibration was equivalent to that of an earthquake. And then, without warning a giant beast erupted from the ground.

Chunks of rocks were shattered In all directions as it emerged. Joe tilted his head when it was needed and managed to dodge most of the rocks before they struck his head. The rest of them were blocked by the black blade shielding him, with the others going astray.

Joe's eyes glided upwards as he observed the creature in front of him. It towered any mana beast he had seen up to this point. It was even larger than the Great Wolfin itself. Joe couldn't belive it.

It stood on four legs with feet as big and wide as an elephant. It had large black claws that protruded from its feet. Its limbs were incredibly thick, and it's body consisted of a massive hump mimicking a camel's appearance.

The creature did not have any fur, instead its body was covered by shining silver scales. Its length was mostly exaggerated by its thin and lengthy neck that would make even the tallest of giraffes envious. To top it all off, it had a giant skull and Red was seen standing on top of it with a triumphant smile. The creature also had a weird looking giant collar at the top half of its neck.

The Mana Beast Joe had seen up to this point were mostly similar to real-life animals with only their exaggerated sizes being the difference. But this one was different. It was quite literally a walking abomination.

“This is it kid, this is the power of control of control.” Red exclaimed, laughing maniacally.

When Joe took a closer look at the Gluttanor, via [Outsider’s Perspective] its Mana seemed to have combined with Red's own mana creating a weird fusion of mana flow throughout both their figures. Essentially, they were totally connected.

Joe had never seen anything like it, even the ones who moved carriages throughout Perina didn't seem to share this connection with their drivers. Joe pulled the black blade out of the surface now that the rumbling, had seemingly died down.

“It's a good thing I punched that bastard through the wall and forced him to face me out in the open, because if he had summoned that thing inside, the entire place would've crumbled and everyone would've surely been hurt.”

The outside of the Meat Is money store which Red And Joe now occupied, was quite spacious. The store was isolated from its the other stores in Perina which was a good thing, because many of them would've been in danger of being crushed. The Gluttanor was big however. the chances of the Gluttanor not drawing attention was low, the townspeople were bound to notice. Considering how they reacted when Stan went wild, Joe didn't expect them to get involved In this battle but his already growing infamy was bound to increase.

Joe's mind refocused to the battle ahead. He pointed The Black Blade's tip directly at Red and his beast signifying that he had no intention of backing down. He had slain a giant monster before and he could do it again. A wave of mama erupted from his form cloaking himself and the Black blade. [Skill Activation: Outsider’s Enhancement]

Reacting to the spike in Joe's mana, Red immediately went on the offensive. “Desyroy him Gluttanor!”

Responding to his words, the gluttonor immediately launched its head towards Joe. Due to its insanely long neck. It's reach was similar to that of a snake, it's maw unraveled as it aimed to consume Joe in one go. It's face smashed into the earth at full force. The ground rumbled and cracks marred its surface. A cloud of white smoke took shape almost immediately after the collision.

The Gluttanor's head rose up once again after a few seconds, but it's mouth was empty. Joe was no where to be found

Red who nearly lost his footing after that assault was fuming with anger. “You idiot! Don't just charge In there without thinking. You could've crushed me!” Red stomped the Gluttanor's skull repeatedly, although that was unlikely to leave any lasting damage.

The dust cleared, And Joe was found standing 10 meters away from the his previous position. His chest heaving.

“That was really close. If I hadn't launched my self to the side when I did. I would've probably been devoured. That thing's huge but it's speed is no joke..”

Joe reaffirmed his footing, he crouched low and prepared to launch himself forward.

But Red had other ideas.

“I'm done, letting you choose your own moves. Just use drowsy roar!”

The Gluttanor's mouth opened wise and from the depths of its throat it unleashed a booming roar. [Skill Activation: Drowsy Roar]

The sound immediately assaulted Joe's senses. It was loud and unrelenting. Joe's form staggered back and his vision started spinning In circles. The Black Blade escaped from his grasp and clattered to the ground. Joe immediately followed it, as his form was brought to its knees. He had both hands covering his ears, desperate for the sound to go away. His vision was now starting to blur.

The Gluttanor had long stopped roaring but its sound continued to torment Joe. And Red was keen on taking the advantage. “Now destroy him Gluttanor. Use Rock Smash!"

The Gluttanor's neck extended once again. It's mouth opened as it scooped a mouthful of the ground. It then crunched it into bits and pieces of large rocks with its teeth, before it rose once again. It heaved almost as if taking a huge breath, before its mouth opened wide. Without a second thought, it unleashed a volley of large rocks coated in brown mana towards Joe. The rocks were incredibly quick as they brisked through the air. [Skill Activation: Rock Smash]

Joe had to think on his feet despite his disorientation. He reached tor The Black Blade next to him, he winced as he drove The Black Blade into his thigh, slicing it open.

The blade didn't dig deep, but it was still excruciatingly painful. That pain is what jotted Joe's senses and forced him to focus. The sound in his head went away when his body was assaulted by a new sensation called pain. He clenched his teth and dragged himself to his feet. Blood oozed from his leg but he didn't seem to care. His burst of mana doubled as he swung the black blade once. [Outsider’s Enhancement X2]

The arc it produced was massive, it matched the speed of the incoming rocks and tire through all of them without much trouble. [Skill Activation: Mana Slash]

Joe's blood loss lessened after he activated [Outsider’s Enhancement X2] It was still there, but it flowed at a much slower rate. “I won't be able to sustain this for long. I'll need to kill that thing in a single all and nothing charge, or else I'm screwed.” Joe winced at the thought.

The handle of the black blade started to glow. And what came with the white glow was a single rune. Similar to the ones Joe had seen up to this point. Joe had released one of the black blade's seals.
