After ten minutes of discussing on their next battle plan Saito then left the room and Alice returned the room and she said to Yuki while having a smile on her face.

"Would you like to play with me?"

"Nn."

Yuki nodded and Alice gave Yuki a doll and the two of them begun playing house. Meanwhile Saito left the house and he went to the guard post where Luis told Saito while having a serious look on his face.

"Are you sure that the soldiers at the fortress will take us in?"

"Don't worry I may not look like it but I'm a commander of the army that's currently under Yuki Hime-sama's command."

"Are you telling the truth Saito-dono. If that's the case then we'll be under the protection of the royal guard?"

Saito showed a depressed look and he said to Luis.

"Well the remnants of the royal guard that is. Duke Itsuki Takenaka along with the royal knight corp attacked the castle and killed the King, Queen, The crown prince and the second prince along with the first and second princess. Which leaves Yuki Hime-sama as the only heir to the throne. If she's killed then the duke will become king. And that's why the duke is using his forces to cut off the forces of the members of the monarch fraction."

"So you're telling me that our country will face civil war?"

Saito then nodded and he said to Luis in a laid back tone.

"Don't worry we're not forcefully recruiting soldiers into our ranks. We only recruit those who are willing to lay down their life for their country."

"Th-then I would like to join the army as a field medic. I may not be skilled on wielding a sword but if it's about medicine then I'm sure that I can contribute greatly for the people for are fighting in the front-lines."

Saito then looked at Luis with a serious look on his face then he said.

"And you'll ask for something in return am I right? Then out with it."

"Can you please train my daugther as a personal guard of Yuki Hime-sama. She always Idolized the knights that always protected the princess. I'm not expecting any rewards like knighthood or become a noble but all I want to do is make my daugther happy."

With a smile on his face Saito then said to Luis in a cheerful tone.

"Consider it done. I'm sure that Yuki Hime-sama will love to have Alice-san as her bodyguard."

Then the sound of a horn could be heard and about fifty men exited the guard's barracks while having spears and swords at hand and they all went to the direction of the forest.

"So the orcs are attacking the village?"

"Yes that's right?"

"Then let's go to the village chief's house I'm sure that he'll agree to evacuate the village if he we tell him that he'll be under the protection of the royal guard."

Meanwhile on the fortress Yuzuru and Lily gathered two hundred soldiers and went to Sandalia village.

"So we'll arrive at the village within ten minutes. But are you sure that this is the right thing to do? If this action puts Yuki Hime-sama in danger then I will never forgiven you. I owe my life to Yuki Hime-sama since she saved me from Saito-san."

"That man is really dangerous. I know we that he's on our side but he might corrupt the mind of Yuki Hime-sama with his way of thinking."

"Nn. That's right, but there's nothing that we can do. If we fought him in the current state of our army then we'll only get wiped out."

Lily then held the stopwatch that Saito gave her and she said in a serious tone.

"I believe that Saito-san isn't trying to do harm to the princess so everything is alright."

"That maybe so but I just can't trust that man. He has no honor as a warrior. As a knight who fight's for justice I can't stand people like him."

Lily scrathed her hair and she said to Yuzuru as she returned the stopwatch to her pockets.

"We can't win the war if we fought them head on. And his way of thinking will prevent hundreds or even thousands of deaths on both sides. If I can protect the people of this country in exchange of my honor as a knight then that's fine by me."

"It's true that he's always planning ahead to prevent the damage from escalating. But I just don't like that way of thinking."

Yuzuru clicked his tongue and he said in annoyance to Lily.

"I know what his plans is, but I can't accept those methods since it stains my pride as a knight.".

After the two of us finished playing with the doll Alice grabbed my hand once again and the two of us went to the fields outside the village. Since the guards are patrolling the area Alice said it was safe. Then she gave me a seashell and she said with a smile on her face.

"Please accept this as a sign of our friendship. I know it's not much, but this is all I can give you Yuki-chan."

"You don't have to give me something to be my friend, I enjoyed playing house with you and I've already considered you as my friend from some time now. So there's no need to give me a gift Alice-chan."

Then I hugged Alice-chan and I told her sincerely.

I'm truly greatful since I've made a friend, but I mustn't forget my reason on coming to this village. To observe the people and learn from them. Saito-kun knew about my intentions on going to this village so he accompanied me to the village. Alice-chan then grabbed my hand as she heard the loud sound of a horn and the soldiers patrolling the area all drew their weapons and prepared for combat. The two of us started running back home, Alice-chan pulled my hand until we arrived at the cabin and she said to me while catching her breath.

"The monsters are coming Yuki-chan, Ask Saito-san to take your horse and leave the village quickly."

I placed my hand on the hilt of my katana and I said to Alice-chan in a serious tone.

"I'm sorry, but I refuse to leave the people of this village. I will stay here and fight."

That's right I can't face Saito-kun straight in the eyes if I continued to run away like before. This might be against his will but I'll stay here and fight in=order to protect the people of this village.

I removed Alice-chan's hands from my wrist and I told her in a serious tone.

"If I abandon this village and flee then how can I call myself the ruler of this kingdom. I'm the third princess of this kingdom. I'll fight this battle even if it means suffering a fate worse than death."

Alice-chan looked at me with a pale expression and she said timidly.

"Yo-You're the third princess of the kingdom? So yo-you're Yuki Hime-sama?"

Right now the city guards are fighting the orcs but who knows how long they will last. I asked Yuki-chan to leave but she refused and decided to lead the orcs to the city of Randel. I think her Idea is reckless but it seems reasonable but I was still against it. The reason why is because if will also damage the town if we fail to suppress those monsters. I must do everything I can to exterminate all the orcs all by myself.

After we finished our talk with the village head he quickly ordered the evacuating of the village to the fortress, while the remaining soldiers will stall the orcs long enough for them to get to a safer location before retreating. I left the building along with Luis-san and the two of us went to the outskirts of the village where the battle is currently ongoing.

"Can you really buy us enough time against that many orcs all by yourself?"

"Do you have a problem on trusting me? Well I can't blame you since you haven't seen me fight. And besides I'm also intrested in fighting those orcs to know their strength."

Afterwards I patted Luis-san's shoulders and ran towards the battlefield at full speed. Upon reaching the distance where I could attack a target I putted my energy into the sword to strengthen my muscles and I lunged towards the nearest orc.

"Move out of the way!"

I shouted as pushed one of the guards who was about to be stabbed by an orc.

 Afterwards I moved my sword towards the throat of the orc thus quickly ending it's life.

"The village will be abandoned please help with the evacuation. Those were the orders of the chief."

After hearing those words Luis-san arrived and gave a detailed report to his comrades. Then the soldiers of the village slowly started to retreat.

I stabbed another orc in the head and parried the attack of another. It's only a matter of time before I get surrounded and killed. I must think of something fast. If I don't then not only will I die.

After I stabbed another orc in the abdomen I took a few steps back and I took a stopwatch from a hidden pocket on my clothes and quickly used it's ability.

The surroundings started to slow down. The time stop ability of the stopwatch seems to have a five to ten second delay before it's ability is activated.

"Once I've used up those thirty seconds I must quickly get away from here. I need to keep them away from Yuki-chan. This time I wont fail to do my duty!"

Saito then ran around when time froze and stabbed the orc's vitals one by one in quick sucession.

Ten seconds has passed and Saito already gave fatal injuries to fifteen orcs. 

After twenty five seconds has passed Saito quickly wiped the blood of his katana and returned to it's scabbard and ran towards the direction of Randel.
