Yohiro’s mind has gone to shambles, not only because of the fatigue he was experiencing, but also because of the complete brutal, disguting scene that had unraveled before his and Clous’ eyes. He wasn’t thankful he was alive, or that he was safe. He was scared that he was saved by a person who was by all definitions and in every possible way worse than the person who she saved him from. ‘’The two of you should stand back for now, okay?’’ Hiona asked them with a lively smile on her face, ignoring the wounds and spots left on her by Hiuh, who was no longer there, as well as the one left on her at the right side of the head by Yohiro. She chanted under her breath, contacting Bernie. ‘’Yo, big guy, ready the cannon, okay?’’ She started speaking casually, getting a quick ‘’Y-yes, master,’’ from the simply surprised Bernie. ‘’Contact Rosa and give her the news, too, if you would be so kind,’’ she requested of him, closing the book before he could give her an answer, full-well knowing he wouldn’t protest.
‘’Master…!’’ Yohiro stood up, getting her attention. ‘’What did you to that man? Where did you send him?!’’ He asked her in an angered tone, walking up to her, not realising she was still trying to refrain her anger and displeasure. ‘’In my tome, where else? He’s not really enough to fill up a stock, but he’s at least a quarter. He’s dead, so don’t mind it,’’ she gace him the vaguest of answers, confusing him more than relieving him. ‘’Clous, I don’t know any healing spells, Rosa and Bernie don’t either, so you gotta deal for about an hour until we’re outta here, got it, you tough bastard?’’ She explained the situation to him, asking for his already assured consent, watching him scoff at her, holding the wound on his neck with his hand, holding himself sat up with the other.
Hiona had a fact she couldn’t connect herself: What mage from this district would be able to give Hiuh such power, that of a firearm turned into pure magical essence, then placed inside the nerve system. She couldn’t think of anyone, despite having been through the entire district at several points before. The three of them heard a loud sound from down below, with Clous and Hiona confirming it was Bernie since the whole building began shaking below them. ‘’Yohiro, take Clous and move aside, now,’’ she ordered him as she opened her tome once more. Yohiro followed her orders reluctantly, though that word could not be used here. It was fear fused in with respect, with a grain on twisted admiration in-between. He moved Clous to the side, pulling him by the armpits and listening to his muffled and painful-sounding sighs.
The shaking stopped, only to return in a sudden bang, a powerful blast of magic leaving the cannon Bernie had prepared, breaking through the very material of the building, continuing to climb to the upper floors. Rosa had already prepared herself, holding a glinting ring while on the fifth floor, making it as large as she could a she tried to step as far away from the blast range as possible, while still trying to keep the ring balanced and centered. The blast finally reached the fifth floor, stopping at Rosa’s ring. ‘’It’s you from here on out, master. Take care of it!’’ Rosa thought as she clapped, watching the blast increase in size and continue to bust upwards.
‘’Aian Yosei: article 19. Connect.’’ Hiona muttered to herself, stepping back as the blast from the cannon bust through the floor, landing in the large mirror she had just created with her tome. They watched in bewilderment as she snapped her fingers, deflecting it towards the other wall, causing an explosion so large that even Hiona flew back, hitting her back against the wall, with Clous and Yohiro following suit.

As the afterglow of the explosion faded away, with poor Yohiro staring with his eyes wide, Clous began waving his arms violently at Hiona from away, still coughing from the large amount of smoke. ‘’You realised it already? That’s a little too soon…,’’ she frowned childishly, starting to walk towards what could previously be called a ‘’wall,’’ now only being an open hole. ‘’Ye~~ah, the cannon was unnecessary, but it was so flashy and cannon-ey, wasn’t it?!’’ Hiona yelled at him with a childish expression, pointing at the complete nothing left of what there was before, leaving Clous at the end of hope, looking down in disappointment.
‘’And as a bonus, we killed all the motherfuckers that were watching the cameras inside! That’s awesome, too,’’ she calmed herself down, walking over to the remains of the room, only stopping as something clicked inside her head. ‘’Yohiro, dear, please tell the others to return to the location of the glyph and leave!!’’ She yelled over to him, shaking him from his frozen state of shock and prompting him to jump into a scaredly energetic step, running over to the hole left from Bernie’s cannon blast, shaking slightly with each step.
‘’Ah- Um, Mr. Rosa, Mr. Bernie! Please return to the glyph and leave the building…!’’ Yohiro pulled out as much strength as he could, warning them as he rose his voice. ‘’I see, then! We’ll see you guys later, in that case!’’ Rosa responded with tiredness in her voice, jumping through the hole, descending quickly, ultimately getting caught by Bernie on the first floor. ‘’Come on, carry me up there, please. I’m dying,’’ she said nonchalantly, watching Bernie’s equally exhausted expression, stepping down from his arms by herself, patting his shoulder. ‘’L-let’s just go, Bernie…’’ She said, with him nodding, the two of them beginning to walk through the corpses left on the ground.
‘’Here we go…!’’ Hiona happily let out as she found a small metal case at the corner of the room, covered in rubble. ‘’You guys, I found the fucking jackpot! Mission complete!’’ She exclaimed, waving at the as she picked up the case after checking and confirming the amount of money inside. ‘’That thing looks smaller than what it takes me to pack my clothes, you bitch!’’ Is what Clous tried to and wanted to yell out, stopped by his sheer fear and by his unusable throat. ‘’It’s actually kinda heavy. Neat,’’ she thought as she ran over to them with the case in hand. ‘’A hundred thousand bucks! We did it, guys,’’ she happily offered her hand to them, confused as to why Clous was staring into the distance. Then he realised it: They had attacked an army base, murdered a very large handful of people and he himself got majorly hurt, just for one hundred thousand. He gave up, completely leaning backwards and closing his eyes. ‘’He had enough already…? I wanted to annoy him a little more, though!’’ Hiona thought as she looked at Yohiro, who was counting on his fingers, trying to find out how much one hundred thousand was, which was troublesome considering he didn’t know what the number one hundred was worth.
‘’Don’t bother, youngling, it’s a lot,’’ she gave him a cheering smile, only to receive an obviously fake one in return, given away by his continuously dropping nervous sweat and just how much his lips were shaking. ‘’Okay hen, we’re going home before someone unwanted shows up. I’ll carry the rodent,’’ she declared, grabbing the already fallen asleep Clous, putting him on her shoulder.
They walked through the blood halls silently, Hiona watching neutrally and Yohiro trying to not express his fear too obviously, feeling as if she would scold him if he did. They reached the room, entering it as Yohiro forced his lips to open, like opening a bottle after struggling for an hour, ‘’S-say, master, do you really dislike Clous as much as you said you did?’’ He said innocently, watching her stop walking suddenly. ‘’A lot, Yohiro. I ‘dislike’ Clous a lot. Now let’s leave,’’ she answered his question in a split second, as if not even needing to think about it, causing Yohiro to look at the unconscious Clous with concern as they stepped into the glyph one after the other.
