Tyler was able to gain his feet, but he continued to lean on the tree. He felt the penetrating gaze from the warrior, but his head was still muddled from the initial dragon attack. He tried to remember what happened throughout the attack, and realized he actually didn't see anything until the mercenaries arrived.
The beginning of the attack, Four made sure that he paid attention to the simple tutorial for the cart. When the cart hit the stone, he was thrown into the air, coming to a shocking halt. He was able to see Four leave, bringing the dragons with her, but since his body was so wrecked, he couldn't turn his face to the sky. He had completely missed the battle in the sky, and what Four had to do in order to force the brood to pursue her.
"So, are you going to explain to us what is going on right now?" He finally met the gaze of the warrior, her question drawing his attention.
He thought about it, why not just close the contract, and hope to disappear in the capital city, Myneria. He looked at his contracts, and saw that the 'Complete' button for both characters in front of him couldn't be selected. He focused on the details, the window showed that the contract couldn't be closed as the dragon threat wasn't eliminated.
A window appeared in front of him.
** Quest Accepted - The Dragon Threat **
Dragons have appeared at the gates of Myneria, confirming that they inhabit the land. Due to an imbalance with the Gods, the broods have come together and have showed interest in you personally. Forces have begun to move, and until you fulfill your obligations, the threat will remain.
He read the quest that was just forced on him, and realized that he was stuck with these two for the foreseeable future. The contracts that he wrote were for the duration of the dragon threat, and the quest was literally called the dragon threat. With the contract length being variable, and how much it cost him, everything made sense.
"By the looks of things, we are going to be stuck together for the foreseeable future. I think it's fair that I try to explain why you two are the first people to fight a dragon." Tyler started by explaining his understanding of their binding contract.
After that, he started off by telling him a modified version of what had happened until now. He started by saying that he was offered a unique tutorial for the Caravanner class. He told them how he learned the aspects of being a Caravanner, briefly reviewing the days he spent on the road.
He explained how sudden the morning was of the attack, and laughed at how he missed most of the attack, stuck in the instructions of steering the cart. He went on, grimacing as he remembered the pain from bouncing off the ground into the tree when he told that part of the story. It was at the point that he decided to hide all traces of Four being involved, saying that his Caravan instructor was carried off by a dragon while he was laid out on the ground.
Tyler had said that he saw two flying horses, which what had began to draw the dragons away. That's when he gave a very basic explanation of how he was able to create a contract, saying that it was just a new tab in his companion UI.
While they were under an NDA, he wasn't about to tell them the involvement of Prime, or any of the other AI, nor was he going to speak about the dual class he was given. He would play the role of a Caravanner for now, worrying about Emma and Beatrice would have to come later. He needed to get into the city, and he couldn't draw attention to himself.

"That's it for now, I have things that I need to take care of before we figure out the next step in the quest line." Tyler's health had reached 100%, he quickly checked his contract page again, and noted that he could not close the contract for TitanicNotes. Looking at the Titan, "That confirms it, we are stuck together."
The Titan smiled broadly. "I am just happy that I can heal someone. Normally an individual is unable to heal another unless they are in a party, and since it is so rare to come across another Titan…" The Titan trailed off, smile falling from his face as he looked over the horizon.
Tyler picked up on the untold issue, and decided to push the conversation ahead. "It must be because of the contract partnership, since you were hired to heal me, it allowed you to use your abilities on me." He turned his gaze to JarsForJars, seeing her health bar at 100%. "Looks like you received your fair share of healing as well, so the contract isn't limited to healing just me."
The warrior briefly looked surprised, but quickly left her face. Tyler saw the look, was he not supposed to know her health? He just scanned the warrior, and the information was available to him. "My combat logs show that I received some decent healing after the dragon left, and I'm pretty sure that I received a boost to my defense to survive that breath attack." She nodded her head toward the Titan briefly. "We should get moving, now that the dragons are gone, those gates are going to open at any moment. When they do, you can believe that this area will be trampled with people looking to find something to claim."
The Titan jumped to his feet. "I need to get walking. I picked up some work in the Tower to earn some extra credits for an upgrade." The Titan reached into his bag, pulling out a recall stick. "I will send you a message next time I dive in, try not to need healing in the meantime." He smiled, broke the stick in half, and disappeared in a large pop of white light.
The warrior took her feet a few moments after, taking the time to allow her eyes to recover from the teleportation effect. "I'm going to leave you as well. It's probably best that I don't take the chance of being discovered here. You shouldn't have any trouble yourself, just say that you have no idea what is going on, and that you only just finished your tutorial." JarsForJars pulled out a recall stick, but let her hand drop to her side. "If anybody gives you any trouble, call for the City Guard. Once they arrive, they will be required to escort you to any location in the city of your request." She smiled at Tyler. "I will meet you at Irene's in the city three days from now, in the meantime, keep your head down. You're my ticket to being the first to completing a quest." She winked, took the stick in both hands and broke it. Disappearing into a large pop of light, a window appeared in front of Tyler.
** Hidden condition completed. Traveling secretly. Keeping your secret, entering the city alone has made it possible for you to keep your provisional class under wraps. Reward: Property Ownership Papers #1. Keep in mind, you haven't actually entered the city yet, if you get found out, this item will disappear. **
Sure, why not, by keeping his secret, he was given an item that will make him the most popular person in Myneria, and across HYTOMA. Property Ownership Papers #1 was the most sought after property in the entire of Hytoma. Located directly across from every portal building in every capital city on the Tower Network. Every single person would pass by the property when they visit the capital city by teleportation, unless they were rich enough to buy direct portal spells.
Raiding guilds would compete for the prestige of showing off in front of the city teleport point, Merchant and Transport guilds for foot traffic alone. If he tried to claim and develop the property too early, guilds would bring their full weight down on Tyler to convince him to sell the property. Espionage and sabotage was common in HYTOMA, and if Tyler wasn't careful, he could find himself surrounded by spies and assassins who were constantly working against him.
Thinking about it, if he just claimed the property in the city management office, but didn't put any development into the lot, nobody could plant themselves. With no store front, no stables for horses, no marked out storage lots, he wouldn't need to hire anybody to maintain services. The most important thing he could is maintain his anonymity, and hope that he could get his lot on noobie row, and figure out a way if he could possibly actually enforce his claim on Property #1.
