Chapter 1- Birth of a Calamity
"Your existence is unnecessary."
"Why don't you just kill yourself?"
"No one loves you, just die already.'
"You cursed trash."
"A cursed child who will never be the heir cannot look at me."
Those words were said to me by my siblings after my 5th birthday. But that was normal because they said it to me every year. Out of my siblings, I was the youngest with two older sisters and three older brothers. My mother was the third and youngest child of a baron and was known for her talent in magic and her beauty. At the age of 17, she was politically married to my Viscount father as his second concubine. He sought her beauty and magical talents to pass down to his children. After they had shared a few nights of copulation, she became pregnant.

After realizing she was pregnant, my mother spent all her time in preparation to have a safe and healthy childbirth. She felt her child was acting differently from other children in the prenatal stage. She overlooked the abnormality and continued to ready herself for the birth. After 10 months, the day came, and she was in labor for a long hour but in the last 5 minutes of the hour, the entire city that my father governed over shook.

All the residual mana in the air around the territory vibrated as if to signal every single being of a coming calamity. After rough labor that lasted 1 hour, I was born. I was born at exact midday. The time of the midday church bells ringing as I came into this world.
After my birth, everyone was relieved. My older siblings were waiting outside with my father and after they got the news of my successful birth, they were seemingly overjoyed. The one who was most overjoyed was my mother, and after she gave birth to me, she had a happy but weak smile as if she were losing her strength.
After I had been born, I was immediately taken to my father who had a wide grin on his face, after I was put in his hands his face immediately contorted in shock. He had taken a close look at my facial features and quickly investigated my magical circuits, but after he investigated my magical circuits, his face was filled with anger and terror. On my neck was a rune, the rune was small and red, my eyes were red, and my hair was red. My father was angry, because he had blonde hair and lapis blue eyes, while my mother had brown hair, she also shared the same lapis blue eyes.
After he had looked at my mother, she too was just as surprised as he was, which only fueled his anger further. My siblings seemed to share the shock because each of them had blonde or blue hair with lapis blue or light brown eyes. But before my father could raise a protest, my mother closed her eyes suddenly, this surprised the midwife and doctors.
Since my father is a Viscount, he had mages who were on standby in the castle which he called over, to heal and check her state. After they examined her, they could see that she was not dead, but she was in a state of comatose where they would not be able to figure out when she would wake up. The magic they tried to use on her did not work and the healing did not do much either since she was not injured. What they found after attempting to look at her magic circuits left them petrified.
My mother's magic circuits were broken, and desolate. They had no mana inside and without a circulation of mana she would not be able to wake up or be able to live for long. There was one place on her spiritual body that was most damaged, and it was her womb.
My mother's womb had been magically disabled after my birth, and the mages who were looking at her magical circuits could not find a way to give her their mana to sustain her. After reporting their findings to my father, he made a grim face. It was true that she was one of his concubines, but he was still under the notion that she was unfaithful towards him.
After that, my father called the sage from the capital city of The Allend Empire. The sage was renowned for his talent in mana manipulation, but after checking my mother's condition he was extremely surprised, and he could only mutter one word.
"Cursed."
