Ugh, my car got stuck in the snow this morning on my way to classes. Got help from two people passing by so i could push it to the side of the road. Writing this on the subway.
Boring day as always, not much to write down.

Went to the road where i left my car, and it was gone. Someone must have called in and complained, and had someone take it away. Now i have to track it down.
Nothing of note in classes today. Sarah got a dog apparently.

Heard that a couple of the US ministers went missing today.
A lot of wild conversations about the missing ministers today; very amusing theories that my classmates has made up.

I finally tracked my car down. Apparently someone drove into it and destroyed the entire engine. It’s useless now, but i may get some money by selling the scraps. Never liked that car anyway.
Missed parts of my classes today.

They found the missing ministers today. They are held hostage by a group of terrorists located in the US. The EU is falling apart more and more since the earthquake in france.
Nothing interesting in class today.

There’s been a breakin at my house today. This dairy wasn’t worth stealing I guess, but they took most of my furniture. Tried to call the police, but no one answered at the other side of the line.
Didn’t go to classes since i had to change my door-lock.

My old radio stopped working today in the middle of the news. My phone as well.
Apparently wasn’t just me, everyone at the university was panicking today. The teachers as well. Phones, TVConfused [https://www.royalroadcdn.com/public/smilies/confused.png] and radios are still down. I hope they fix it.

One of my classmates got his radio to work after finicking with the receiver. Still no news-reports from this area, but there was… less appealing news from our south border.
No actual classes today either.

Don’t really dare to go outside. There’s a lot of riots around my house, and the stores in the areas are being visited by looters.
Don’t know if there was classes today. Won’t bother to find out.

I successfully got to the university today. Most of the residents here are hiding in the university already, including the two people that helped my with my car that day. They’re twins. Fredrik and Veronica.
No classes today of course.

We’re hiding out here in the university. There’s food enough here for at least a while. The university also has it’s own generator. I think we’re the only ones with electricity right now.
It’s getting quite cold here, but at least we’re safe here. For now.

I wonder what’s happened outside?
Less than a week ago things were fine, but now there’s no police, no firefighters, no internet, and very limited use of electricity. Should’ve suspected something after the break-in.
Fredrik took a group of people, mostly students of the more reckless kind, to try and scavenge some food from the supermarkets nearby. Many of the owners are here anyways; they don’t seem to mind.

Fredrik’s little expedition came back pretty late yesterday. They almost got spotted by people trying to monopolize the stores and kiosks. They were armed. Probably americans.
Some of the professors here tried starting up classes for the smaller children hiding here. Not many grade-school teachers here appearently.

The principal wanted Fredrik to set out on another mission. The school is in need of medicines and prescription-drugs. Other things to, but that’ll have to wait.
I could use some sleep for example.

I started helping out with the distribution of food today. There’s even less of it than i thought. The girl working in the school-kitchen with me, Diane, told me to try and not spread that fact around. Guess that’s why i’m venting it here instead.
Fredrik is setting out to find more resources tomorrow morning. Hope he’ll be fine.

We’ve started taking shifts at night so that no outsider enters the university at night. A good idea in my opinion.
Diane in the kitchen is apparently (or at least was, don’t know for how long this shit will go on) also attending the university. It’s not that big. Weird that i haven’t seen her here before.

Fredrik and his little expedition came back today. With food. And also weapons he stole from the thugs in the area. The principal is questioning his decision to bring them here.
Maybe the government will come and work this shit out soon. Hopefully.

I haven’t been able to write here in awhile, too much to do. Armed thieves and thugs from the northern US states have found Canada to be a nice place to occupy, unfortunately for us that is. Fredrik told me that it’s already becoming harder and harder to find food around here. The regular expedition may have to travel even further to find anything. Or more likely, start hunting.
Usage of electricity is becoming more and more restricted. The only really warm place right now is the kitchen, as we still have to heat up food.

Christmas is coming up soon, there’s talk about decorating the whole school. The expedition is setting out in two days; Fredrik wants me to come with them this time, as they will need more people this time around. Not everyone in the group is willing to listen to him, not that i will be able to help him with that.
It’s kind of funny, food with no expiration date like crackers have become like a currency here now. The students here that have access to the dorms have started permanently moving in, and some are selling services like haircuts in exchange for some cookies.

I have to decide if i should go with the expedition. Fredrik seems to really want me to follow him, and i’m getting curious of how the outside looks now, since i haven’t been outside the university for a while now.
I think i will go with them this time. I asked Diane to keep an eye on my dorm room so that no one takes it.
Hope the expedition goes as planned.
