"How is she?" Frisca inquired with concern evident in her voice.

"Not so good, madam. It seems as if her mana is getting even stronger," Casia reported, her expression filled with worry.

Frisca nodded, determination flickering in her eyes. "Casia, I will use my magic," she declared.

"Understood, ma'am," Casia replied, ready to assist in any way she could.

Frisca focused her energy and then uttered, "Mana conduit." Instantly, the purple mana that was leaking from Giselle's body was forcefully drawn back into her, the conduit sealing shut tightly.

Continuing with resolve, Frisca invoked, "Vitality renewal." A soothing blue energy enveloped Giselle's form, and it became apparent that she was in a better condition than before.

"Ma'am," Casia interjected, seeking clarification.

"Casia you stay here with Giselle if there are any issues with her you make sure to come to me" said frisca

"Understood madam" said Casia

With that frisca left the room. Then proceeded to go out where she saw renna, Henry, Anco, and saori waiting.

"Is she okay?" Saori said

"It seems you guys were waiting. Well I used magic to stabilize her mana she will be okay"

"Oh thank goodness. When will she wake up?" Asked renna

"I predict in the next five days" said frisca

Renna and Henry became happy along with saori. It seemed Anco had also been relieved.

"You all may go and stop worrying she'll be okay. I will contact a famous alchemist within the city to get some potions and pills ready by the time Giselle wakes up" said frisca

"Mother, isn't this good? Giselle may die," Said Abby

"You're right, she may die. But, as I said before, darling, you're better than her, and your main goal isn't her," Dominca replied confidently, reaffirming her daughter's superiority.

As they conversed, Jenny entered the room and questioned, "Why is it good that Giselle may die?"

Dominca attempted to brush off the question with a laugh, saying, "Oh, Jenny, darling, hahaha."

"Why do you care? Get out. Mother and I are having a private conversation. Go and play with your teddy bears or something," Abby retorted sharply.

Jenny rolled her eyes at the dismissal but persisted, "I overheard Aunt Frisca talking with Giselle's parents and sisters. She said Giselle may wake up in five days' time."

"What How? didn't she say Giselle will likely die?" Abby's surprise was evident in her tone.

"I don't know," Jenny admitted.

"That was kind of expected. I mean, Frisca is a powerful mage. It's unlikely she would let Giselle die. Plus, she has a lot of connections, so if she couldn't fix it, she could call on people more powerful than her," Dominca reasoned confidently.

"Ugh, I'm just gonna go train my magic more. Plus, I saw some grimoires within the library. I'm gonna learn new magic," Abby declared, determined to focus on her own development.

"Have fun, sweetie," Dominca bid Abby farewell as she left the room.

Jenny turned back to her mother, her curiosity still lingering, "So, why is it good that Giselle may die?"

"Jenny, mind your own business. And do me a favor, sweetie. Be more like your sister. She has complete control over her mana, yet you still can't sense yours. Make sure you learn to do it before next year when you're going to attend the academy," Dominca advised, her tone firm yet caring.

"I understand, Mother. Please forgive me for being inquisitive," Jenny conceded before exiting the room.

Meanwhile...

"Isn't it sad, darling, that poor girl," Richita empathized with a heavy heart.

"Yes, it is, but I'm sure Frisca will do everything to save her," Kevin reassured, his confidence unwavering.

"Mommy, mommy, once I grow older, I want my magic to be fire or something fierce and strong," Cion announced excitedly, interjecting into the conversation with his aspirations.

"Hahaha, good thoughts, my boy! As expected of my son," Kevin chuckled proudly.

"I'm sure your magic will be amazing, Cion," Richita encouraged, her smile warm and supportive.

"Will cousin be okay?" James interrupted his reading, his black sleepy eyes reflecting concern as he looked at his parents.

"Of course, I'm sure she will. Don't worry," Richita reassured James, her tone soothing.

"I see. Then that's good. It would be bad if she died, after all. I dislike funerals," James remarked thoughtfully, expressing his discomfort with somber occasions.

"Hehehe..." Richita chuckled softly, unsure of what to say, while Kevin nodded in agreement.

James returned to his book, engrossed in his reading, while Cion indulged in daydreams about the magic he desired.

Meanwhile...

"Huh, what happened? Did I faint?" I pondered aloud, trying to make sense of my surroundings.

Surveying the darkness around me, I found myself in an obscure space, devoid of any discernible sights or sounds. Silence enveloped me, and I struggled to perceive anything beyond the pitch-black void. Unable to vocalize my thoughts, I could only contemplate my circumstances.

"The last thing I remembered was tumbling to the ground after feeling a sharp pain in my chest, and then my eyes closed. Wait, I'm not dead, right?" I questioned myself, grappling with uncertainty about my predicament.

A voice was soon heard that instilled both fear and intrigue in its wake. "You're not dead, no need to worry, child," it declared, its tone powerful and intimidating.

Startled by the unexpected presence, I couldn't help but seek answers. "Huh, who was that?" I ventured

"You don't need to know," the voice replied cryptically, its words shrouded in mystery.

Unwilling to relent, I pressed for more information, desperate to understand my predicament. "Then tell me, what happened to me and where am I?" I implored

"Since I like you, I will tell you," the voice conceded, its tone softening slightly. "You have fallen into a deep sleep, and you are currently in my home."

Confusion clouded my thoughts as I struggled to comprehend the surreal nature of my surroundings. "Your home? What... how can that be?" I questioned, my mind racing with possibilities.

The voice offered a partial explanation, hinting at the enigmatic nature of my plight. "Your soul seems as if it was sent through time and space into this dark void. Even though your body is still alive, your soul is separated from it," it revealed, its words stirring a mixture of fear and fascination within me.

Seeking clarity, I pressed further. "How come?" I demanded, my voice tinged with a sense of urgency.

"Let's see... it could be fate and destiny," the voice mused cryptically, leaving me with more questions than answers.

Determined to find a way back to my body, I persisted in my inquiries. "So, how do I get back?" I asked, my voice filled with determination as I sought a path out of the darkness that engulfed me.

"Why should I tell you? After all, I've been alone all this time. It doesn't hurt to have company here," the voice countered, its tone tinged with a hint of bitterness.

But I couldn't accept the notion of remaining trapped in this dark void indefinitely. "I can't stay here. I must go back to my body, go back home, and attend the magic academy. I want to become a mage and live a good life," I asserted, my voice resolute in its conviction.

The voice's response was cryptic, hinting at the whims of fate and destiny. "That's what you want, but what if fate has other plans?" it posed, its words laden with uncertainty.

"I don't care what fate wants. I'm supposed to be in control of my own destiny," I declared, my determination unwavering despite the voice's attempts to sow doubt.

But the voice challenged my assertion, casting doubt upon the very essence of my being. "You are, yet here you are. Because of your actions, you ended up here. Your entire existence led to this moment," it proclaimed, its words echoing in the darkness.

Confusion gripped me as I struggled to comprehend the voice's insinuation. "What... my existence?" I questioned, my voice trembling with uncertainty.

The voice's response sent a shiver down my spine, challenging everything I thought I knew about myself. "Yes, after all, a normal human couldn't come to the dark void," it revealed, its words hanging in the air like a dark omen.

"But... I am a normal human, so..." I trailed off, my voice faltering as the implications of the voice's revelation began to sink in.

"No, you aren't. You're not human in the first place," the voice declared, its words plunging me into a maelstrom of confusion and disbelief.

The revelation that I might not be human sent a jolt of disbelief through me, prompting a sarcastic retort. "Oh, wow, so funny. Spoiler alert: I was born to two human parents," I quipped, attempting to downplay the gravity of the situation.

But the voice's response was serious and sobering. "That may be true, but being born to two human parents doesn't automatically make you human," it countered, its words carrying an air of solemnity.

Perplexed by the implications of the voice's assertion, I couldn't help but seek clarification. "Uhh, technically it does. Then if I'm not human, what am I?" I questioned, my voice tinged with uncertainty.

"You are a soul fragment of the true God," the voice revealed, its words sending a chill down my spine as I struggled to comprehend the magnitude of what I had just heard.

Unable to contain my disbelief, I responded with a nervous laugh. "Pfft, hahahaha, how funny. What's a soul fragment, anyway?" I asked, my attempt at humor masking the underlying fear and confusion.

The voice offered a succinct explanation, shedding light on the nature of my existence. "A portion of a larger soul, separated from the main entity due to trauma or magical intervention," it explained, its words resonating with a sense of clarity amidst the chaos of uncertainty.

"Umm, so I'm a soul fragment of the true God. What the hell is a true God? All I know is that there are seven main gods. Nothing about any true God," I admitted, my voice tinged with frustration and confusion.

But the voice remained cryptic, refusing to divulge further information. "Of course, as the knowledge within the universe does not encompass the true God, I will not speak any further than this," it declared, its words leaving me with more questions than answers.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, I sought to clarify the nature of our interaction. "Wait, we haven't actually been speaking, right?" I questioned, my mind reeling with the implications of the voice's telepathic communication.

"No, it's telepathy. A skill to use the mind to speak," the voice clarified, its words dispelling any doubts about the nature of our exchange.

With a sense of resignation, I attempted to summarize the startling revelations that had been unveiled. "Ahh, I see. So, let's recap everything you've told me. My soul is separated from my body, I'm not human, I'm a soul fragment of the true God," I summarized, my voice tinged with a sense of resignation as I grappled with the weight of my newfound identity.

"Seems as if you were listening quite well, and you don't seem too shocked," remarked the voice, its tone carrying a hint of curiosity.

"Why would I be shocked? I'm probably just dreaming, and after all, nothing that you told me made sense, since I didn't understand anything this definitely is a dream," I replied dismissively, attempting to rationalize the surreal conversation.

"Perhaps you are," conceded the voice, its response enigmatic and devoid of further explanation.

Before I could process the implications of its words, the voice vanished, leaving me alone with my thoughts as consciousness slipped away, and I succumbed to the oblivion of sleep.
