A young girl in the deep purple robes was standing in front of a dark, serpent-like creature. However, it was much larger than any serpent could have been. It seemed like it floated above the ground, swimming in the air. The girl had black hair with purple streaks, bright green eyes, and robes that matched her hair. Dragons inlaid with gold thread along the sleeves, long serpents that matched the creature in front of her at this very moment. That mischievous smirk on thin lips, looking up at the beast.
"Gentle dragon," she held out a hand. A palm reaching out toward the animal's nose. The dragon gave a soft growl and stared at the girl.
Genki frowned and shook her head, rolling her eyes. "You're too serious. You're a dragon and protected by me. Relax, let your hair down a little."
If the dragon could frown, it would have.
"Gentle dragon, oldest of your species, it's time your kind got the respect it deserved." She told him, getting serious now.
"We are old, young Kami. Many of us were created before you. We do not care for respect," the dragon answered her. The dragon spoke to Genki telepathically. The creatures could not talk with their mouths. They were powerful enough to let their intentions be known though.
"Perhaps, but why is there no sect for you, dear dragon?" Genki looked at the sky, at the different constellations. They all formed the various creatures on which mortals based their sect systems.

"We do not need such things. Our job is to protect the Kami, young one. We live to serve…." The dragon spoke slowly, methodically, and with intelligence.
Genki cut him off though, "oh blah blah blah, father told me why he made you. As a representation of blah blah blah. I believe you deserve a sect, though. Someone to worship you and gain power from you, my power."
The dragon laughed, closing his eyes. It was a full growl of a laugh that shook its entire body.
"The mortals can not practice our abilities, young Kami. They lack the ability," he told the young girl.
Genki's grin only widened. "I believe we can change that easily. I am a Kami, after all. You leave everything to me, dear elder dragon. Leave them be when you see people following you and your kind's travels. I command it." Genki's smirk disappeared with the last. All traces of playfulness were gone from her face. She looked at the dragon with steel determination.
The dragon sighed, then with a great exhale, it pushed fire from his nose. Genki was in the middle of the explosion. She was left, of course, unmarred. Once it stopped, he looked at the Kami, looking at her with those bright green eyes. The dragon was powerful, but it was not a god. If this young girl wanted to unmake and destroy his entire race, she could. She could do so with only a wave of her hand and the inkling to do so. Finally, the dragon bowed its head to the girl.
"Of course," was all he said.
Genki reached out with a palm and rubbed at his nose, giving another giggle. The playful expression was back on her face. Then she was gone.
