Greeting folks!
So 2 years ago, I uploaded The Symphonia of Erde on Wattpad and Honeyfeed, both of which received more or less the same positive response as the one uploaded in this website. And while I am happy with the milestone I have achieved with this story, sad to say I can't say the same about the content of the story itself.
To be honest, I'm not satisfied with my work; I'm not happy with the direction I'm going with my story, I don't like how I write certain characters, I don't like how I end up building my world- so long story short, I felt like I wanna put a stop on this story and redo the whole thing- and that's exactly what I'm gonna do.
I plan on resetting and rewriting the whole thing, taking a different approach to the narrative and direction of my world/character building, cuz what's the point of writing a story you yourself don't enjoy right? Who knows when I'll be finished with the new revised and retconned version of The Symphonia of Erde, cuz while I agree it's not exactly my best work, it is after all the first story that got me into the world of webnovel writing, and the first daydream I had that actually got me put detail and effort into its characters and worldbuilding. It will be a waste if I just let this one die off- forgotten somewhere in my memory.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
Perhaps I'll be busy with other projects yes, or perhaps I'll be working on other 'smaller' series I had in mind before I re-explore the world of Erde. But needless to say, this one has a special spot in my heart and I won't let go of it just yet. I wanna see it in a new light someday- a better light. And I hope I could share with you kind folks when that time comes.
Because of that, I wanna say thank you, first and foremost, to all those who supported me in my writing journey, the readers that come and go who are willing to spend a fraction of their time reading my story, and to all of you who managed to help me reach this far. The numbers may not seem much, but I'm glad to say my skills and understanding in writing had increased exponentially compared to when I first started two years ago.
All the best in your journey's everyone! And may we see each other again some time soon!
Yours truly, MAZ1k5
