I ran through the town square Everist's fighting of the Queen's men, all around me.Wizards, shape-shifters, and warriors fought against us. Normally in our forest-like home we would be winning, but the fires they had set decreased the number of availible plants. The men knew what this would do to us, two Everists would fight over a tree then land up fighting each other until one was dead.

"Hey you!"a man called from behind me.

"Not now! I don't have time for you!"I growled spinning on my heel.He's a warrior.I could sense the nearby trees calling for me.I tilted my head to the right just a little bit.Two trees caming slamming into him from both sides, he opened his mouth to scream, but his voice never made it out of his throat.I could hear his heart give one last beat and then stop, smiling cruelly I turned around and started walking again.
