CHAPTER 1: The Weird Day

Today was a weird day when I woke up. I saw bruises all over my body and beside me was a samurai sword that has an inscription on it. 

I tried to read it but it was in another language that i can’t understand. Even though it was weird I tried to ignore it because today i was gonna take a math test. I prepared myself and went to school earlier than I expected. 

It was like time stopping or I was moving faster even though I never exercise or participate in a marathon maybe it was because of the sword. 

When I arrived at school everyone was surprised because I always arrive 20 minutes late. I went to my class, sat at my table and prepared for my math test. 

I was really nervous because math isn’t my strong subject.

When I finished doing my math test I was relieved because that was the last test for me. 

I went home quickly because I was really curious about the sword because I feel like it makes me move faster. I arrived home and quickly went into my bedroom to check the sword. In the room I slowly touched the sword.

I feel something went into my finger and went to my brain. Suddenly, I feel like my head is ripping apart. I screamed and screamed but nobody heard me. After a while, i don’t know when my head will stop hurting. 

I then quickly stood up to go to the hospital but as soon as i stood up i felt dizzy and after that i black out.

When I woke up I was stunned because I found myself in a forest and not in my bedroom. I thought to myself this can’t be real, maybe this is a dream. 

I then pinched myself and slapped myself over and over but I still cannot wake up and then I thought maybe I was kidnapped but who would kidnapped me? I barely talk to anyone and I never have any friends or enemies. I don't even know who my parents are. 

I then just stood up and searched around to find an exit because I was getting a dangerous vibe from the forest. 

Suddenly, I heard a loud sound and the ground was shaking. I quickly went into the direction of the sound and I saw a sword. 

The sword looks the same as the one in my bedroom. I looked at the sword and I saw the same inscription as the sword in my bedroom but this time I understood the languages. 

It’s weird because I never learned any other languages besides english and the inscription looks like it is from Japan. 

I read the inscription and it says ‘ thou who touches me shall become the master of the sword and a great swordsman’. 

I was surprised and felt very excited. I then immediately touched the sword and suddenly I felt the surge of power inside my body. I fell down and fainted.

When I woke up, I realised that it was all a dream, but I still could not figure out where the samurai sword came from and how I got those bruises on my body
