The Surai.  Special children born with great powers and abilities.  The boys become Surai Mages, while the girls become Surai Warriors, all based upon the agent legendary duo, two heroes that were romantically connected and stopped great tragedy from befalling ten thousand years ago.  The Surai Duo were mortally wounded in the battle though, with the male mage especially bad as their blood was poisoned by the enemy commander's.  And so, dying even though humanity still needed their powers, the two weaved a mighty spell, sacrificing themselves so their power would spread, be inherited, and grow inside of children everywhere. Ten thousand or so years later, and a boy finds himself waking up, reincarnated in such a world.  Although strange and weird and embarrassing, he ends up going to Atima Academy, a place where Surai mages and warriors go to learn, train, and life for the next few years.  That said, amidst the romantic feelings, mischevous and perverted people, pranks and school life, a darkness lingers around the academy, and someone seems determined on taking his life.   Will he be able to make it through this academy with not only his dignity, but his life in tact? Or will the plans of whatever darkness lingers in the shadows come to fruition? These are the stories that will be told within what will become known as The Surai Chronicles.
