Exhausted, in a soon to be named valley, the Fallen One stopped.
His pursuer had reached him.
Dreams and desires, put aside.
As for him, of facing reality was time now.
With a deafening explosion of wind and with a sword in hand, his pursuer arrived.
Silver wings of life, feathers like knives.
The Fallen One turned around, to slay his destiny, he was ready.
With a grimace, his pursuer, the Bright One spoke.
"You let yourself be tainted. You let the monster call you and bind you to its will." His visage steeled.
"You betrayed us, death is your sentence and your release."
The Fallen One shook his head sadly.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
"You will never understand, right?" He replied.
"The Master freed me from myself, I didn't betray you, you all betray yourself by-"
"SILENCE!" The Bright One howled, then attacked.
From the Fallen One's back, something sprung to life.
Dark wings of rebellion, feathers like flames.
Their swords met, once and again.
In the air, the heavens rumbled.
In the ground, the earth roared.
Soon, powerful magic was unleashed.
And a victor was decided.
The Fallen One stood, kneeling.
He had no regrets except not being able to serve longer.
His life about to end, he gazed at the Bright One's eyes.
He felt his friend's sadness, his reluctance.
He saw himself, reflected in the dead-like silver eyes of his once friend.
A pitiful, battered sight.
But, his own eyes were still full of life, still free.
And then, he had a stroke of inspiration, he understood what he had to do.
He grinned madly.
"You will not steal my freedom!"
The Fallen One laughed with Power.
With wrath and thirst for revenge, he unleashed his mana to the world.
We will meet again, the betrayer thought, and the first curse was born.
The Bright One quickly ended the betrayer's life, but he knew he wasn't fast enough.
As forever the day of the unnamed valley, turned into night.
