Prologue

*sob, sob* The little dark elf girl cries as she runs through the forest.

She hears shouting behind her, mercenaries in shining silver chest plate armor. They were catching up fast, they were probably high-ranking ones.

The girl was exhausted. She was running for half an hour now. *She's only 20 years old, and she was not in the best condition.

*elves are considered children up to the age of 30

Her family was killed. Her mother, fortunately, could buy her some time to run away. She knew what would await if she was caught by the mercenaries.

Eventually, her body gave up on her and collapsed. She started crying even more than before, she started screaming in her head, that why her, why her family. "We didn't do anything!" She screamed.

"Please anyone...If there is someone...I'll do anything, just help..."

"You'll do anything, you say?"

Suddenly a deep voice rang in her head. She didn't know what it was, she never heard of something like this that allows a person to communicate like this.

"Yes I'll do anything, please, I beg you!"

She knelt, pressing her forehead into the ground.

She didn't know where is this mysterious person was, but she wanted to show how she seriously needs help, that she even started to beg.

She's a dark elf, dark elves are known to be a superior race in magic, they are a very proud race, but she swallowed her dignity, and begged. She was raised by being told that dark elves are the superior race and every other an inferior.

Suddenly she remembered that there was a spell that allowed one to communicate through their mind. That was an ancient magic that only The Mind Bender, The Gentle Heart, and The Sophisticated could use. They are legendary heroes from hundreds of years ago.

How can this person use ancient magic that nobody could learn all these years? But she put those questions away for later since there were things more important.

Unexpectedly figure came out of the shadows. It was a tall person, about 193 cm.

The individual wore a beautiful white robe decorated with a gold choker. She has never seen clothing like that before.

The person's presence alone made the little girl's body shake in fear. It was so powerful that she thought she would suffocate to death.

She still hasn't rose her head, she didn't dare do it. She was horrified.

"So, you need some help, huh, Bhumashi Shudalrash?"

How does he know my name? That's the question that ran through her mind as her eyes went wide with both surprise and anxiety.

"H-H-How do you know my name...?"

She asked but as soon as she did, she regretted it. She doesn't know this man, but his almighty presence...like a monarch, how can I ask him something so disrespectfully? She thought.

"Seems like your foes are coming. I will clean them up, after that we will talk."
