Deep within the most dangerous place on the planes of heaven, one would find two things. A lake, next to the lake a peach tree, on this peach tree a lone fruit blossomed. This tree holds the Peach of Heaven blossoming only one every 500,000 years. Next to the tree was Shen-Shi lake this lake a rather ordinary one in heaven, yet no man or beast would dare trespass here.
The guardian of the peach tree lived in Lake Shen-Shi, a giant fish no one knew how big this fish truly was. Measuring thousands of li this fishes name was Kun, a peaceful fish. Only few knew this but if one were to come ask Kun for advice, he would burst through the lake and turn into a magnificent bird. This bird so big it seemed as if it had swallowed the sun.
This bird was named Peng, if you were to ask either Kun or Peng if they we're one and the same they both would only smile and say 'What do you think'.
Many have guessed saying they we're both the same, yet no one could truly be certain. The only fact they knew about this mysterious creature was that they both lived in Lake Shen-Shi and, wherever Peng went Kun would follow.
Deep within Shen-Shi lake though lived another being, a tiny little white fish. This fish had no name, its not that it didn't want one, if this fish had a name it had long ago forgotten it. The little fish would always stare at Kun, one day it finally got the courage, speaking to Kun.
"What are you."
Surprised to hear the little fish speak Kun spoke, a voice so deep the waves appeared with every word.
"Little one after 2,000 years of living in my lake you finally speak to me."
The little fish not understanding what Kun spoke of it tried once more.
"Years? Are you a year? Am I little one? What are you."
At his words Kun could only chuckle.
"Little one I am, what I am, the same goes for you. You may be little one to me but, in the end you are also what you think you are."
The little fish seemed as if he was thinking about what Kun just said, it took a long while before he spoke again.
"Can I be big like you? Can I fly through the skies as well? Tell me."
Surprised by the question Kun looked at the little fish once more.
"There was once a fish like you he seemed little to me, this little fish swam with his brothers towards a waterfall. They fought against the waterfall trying to climb it, but soon they caught the attention of demons. These demons laughing at the poor fish increased the height of the waterfall however, even though this happened one little fish never gave up. Finally it reached the top of the fall, noticing the fishes determination the heavens turned this little fish into a giant dragon. Do you think this little fish wanted to be a dragon? In the end the little fish only wanted to climb the waterfall, but his destiny lied elsewhere now that little fish roams the heavens a dragon for all to admire."
The little fish took in Kun's words and swam down to the bottom of the lake.

Since that exchange of words with Kun the little fish never again talked to him, weeks, months, years. Time slowly passed but, Kun never forgot about his tiny friend.
One day the peace of the lake was finally disturbed as an army of humans marched their way to towards the water. One human stood towards the front flowing brown hair, golden armor covering his body he moved forward then yelled as if not wanting anyone around to miss his words.
"Kun-Peng today I Qing Qiu have achieved Immortal Ancestor and I shall have you as my mount with this peach as my prize. Come out face me, or you can bow to me willingly and their will be no need for a fight."
A deep rumbling could be heard within the lake slowly the water parted as a giant bird emerged from the depths of the lake. Looking towards the army of humans Peng spoke.
"Calling oneself immortal does not make it so, even I a product of the heavens am not immortal."
Flapping his wings once Peng let out a roar, the winds as if answering his call manifested into giant tornados that tore threw the army, surprisingly though no one died. Before Peng once again dove into the lake he said.
"Leave this place and never return, for your ancestor Qing Yu saving me when I was but a youngling I will spare you goodbye."
In the time it took for the waves of the lake to calm down, the humans we're gone.

Many years once again passed without another surprise, although nothing changed for Kun the little fish had finally found its answer.
Swimming up from the bottom of the lake the little fish approached Kun once more.
"How can I become strong, even stronger than you."
The Kun opened its eyes hearing the familiar voice before speaking to the little fish.
"Why is it you seek strength now little one, why not live a peaceful life here I can protect you."
The little fish determined to become strong gave his answer.
"I want to make a place that I can call my own, no one comes and bothers you this place is yours not mine. If I become strong I can make a place for myself, one that I can call home."
The Kun closed its eyes and thought about things before speaking to the little fish.
"Very well I understand little one. When I was young I too wanted to be strong, wanting to lift the heavens and carry them on my back."
As he spoke Kun started transforming into a beautiful bird soaring out of the lake.
"Little one I shall give you this peach, for all the years you were in my lake I never welcomed you think of this as my welcoming gift. When a beast eats this peach they are destined to become something great, something that can shake the heavens. Whether or not you can fulfill your desire and become stronger than me, only the heavens will know."
Once again diving into the lake Kun looked towards the little fish. Tossing a peach he was holding in his mouth towards it.
"Eat this peach, once you are done I shall take you to Million Li Forest in the mortal realm if you are able to cross it while you wont be as strong as me, I promise you'll be strong. The rest is up to you little one."
The little fish didn't even think twice it rushed forward and bit into the peach. Power, the little fish could feel itself changing but, at the same time it couldn't tell how exactly. Not taking long to finish the peach the little fish couldn't move.
Kun looked towards the little fish before giving a laugh.
"Haha it looks like you are destined to become great, those who eat this peach and are not meant for it usually explode."
The little fishes face visibly turned green, if Kun had told him this it might've re-thought eating the peach.
"Little one I will continue to call you little one but, in the mortal world you will need a name. You will meet many people from humans to beast. You need a name, you want to be stronger than me when you are big right? Well then you shall be name Kun Kuo I have some things for you but, right now isn't the best time. I'll give them to you while we fly towards Million Li Forest."
A bubble of water carried the fish out of the lake, wrapping around him dropping him on Pengs back.
"Don't worry little one I am feeding you my Qi you won't need to breathe, lets be off it’s a very long journey and there are quite a few things you must learn on the way."
And so they set off on the start of a journey that Kun Kuo would remember forever.
