Void

The unkown being floats in the cosmos, unawakened. It is the one with no name or power, and it stays adrift in the abyss for an unkown time. Light appears every now and then sparking up a new myriad of worlds as it passes uknowingly. Finally billions of years pass as the being is formed within one of these worlds in the center of the abyss.

More time goes by as the universe shapes itself creating stars, planets and life to live upon them. As does the world where the being lays the planet begins to form its own core and life.

Billions of years pass as civilization sprouts upon this unkown world now known to the inhabitants as Zilzeph. A single town however sprouts in a valley surrounded by moutains that seem to reach the heavens and only a single way in and out.

100 years into this town and a young boy is born as a mother dies. This child named Mortatec, grows being abused by his father and shunned by the villagers due to causing his mothers death. At the Age of six he is cast out when his father drinks himself to death and sent out with nothing but a sack of food and the clothes on his back. He travels through wind and snow with the only thing keeping him alive being his willpower. Fianlly when the Mortatec is nothing but skin and bones looking akin to an already dead man, he stumbles upon a cave containg a small egg shaped stone, ash black with small golden specks covering it.

The boy feeble as he is and dying huddles against the egg and its unkown warmth it permeates, believing that this will be his last night he accepts death and falls into a deep, never waking slumber.

As the boy slowly dies in his sleep the egg rumbles and starts to crack. This crack glows with a dark light and nurishes the boy bringing warmth and redness back to his cheecks.

Crack.....The egg falls apart...
