Throughout the world, the sound of glass shattering was heard by all. However, that sound was no glass. All throughout the world, all its inhabitantants bore witness to a crack forming in the sky and a red streak bursting from it. What this streak was or where it was going, they did not know, however those closest to the phenomenon could hear maddening shouts in a language they could not understand. Everyone else however, could only witness the streak flying across the sky as it slowly came closer and inevitably crashing into the ground, producing a shockwave felt across the world.
The crater formed by the mysterious red streak collided with a small mountain, almost destroying it completly. Yet the mountain almost being completly destroyed was not the most intruiging thing, it appeared that the red streak was not a thing... It was a person. A completly naked man seeming to have features from those of the east. The man was covered in wounds from his head down to his legs, there didn't seem to be any part of this man that was unwounded. He was missing his left arm from the shoulder down, his legs had been damaged and seemed to be bending the wrong way, and most of the skin that made his face had been burned off...That man was Susanoo, the god of storms and the sea.
The once feared god was reduced to a man who seemed to be approaching death's door, however it didn't seem to stop his shouts of vengance or his remaining arm from thrashing about. Those actions only stopped when Susanoo began coughing up blood with faint traces of a golden spark. However it didn't stop with happening only once, Susanoo continued to cough blood for what seemed like hours. When it was finally over, a puddle of blood with faint golden sparks had pooled by his side.
The god of storms had finally seemed to have lost all of vigor, seeming to be nothing but a corpse at that point. However, that changed when a horde of animals began to charge towards the mountain. The allure of divine blood, even from a fallen and crippled god, was enough to drive any creature mad for the chance to claim it. The horde of beasts instinctively knew that this may be their only chance to ascend to higher forms. They could not miss this chance even if it meant they may die.
It didn't take long for the horde to reach the crater, and in turn, Susanoo. Beasts of all species began to charge towards the fallen god and the puddle of his blood. The beasts were driven even madder at the sight of divine flesh. In their eyes, this was a meal sent by heaven itself. And then it became hell. These beasts, driven mad at the prospects of divine blood and flesh, had seemed to forget that there was a god infront of them.
Even if he had been crippled, even if he had no weapon, even if he had fallen from heaven, even if he seemed to have one foot in Yomi itself, he was still a god. Susanoo would not let beasts from a mortal world lay claim to his flesh or blood. Not without a fight. And that's what he did. Even if he could not stand, he could crawl. If he had to use his arm against one beast then he would bite the other. If he was being bitten by dozens of beasts then he would crush them with his body. Even if his bones would break, he would tear them out and use them as his weapons.
No wolf, no bird, no insect or beast would be spared if they dared to expose their fangs to him. This horde was no different. No matter if there were tens, hundreds or even thousands of beasts, Susanoo wouldn't let any transgression be. And for that reason, Susanoo shouted to the world. No, he shouted towards the sky. Towards the still fractured sky where his entrance to the world still made itself known.
(Susanoo) "I WILL RETURN! AND I WILL DESTROY HEAVEN DOWN TO THE LAST TRAITOR! I SWEAR IN THE NAME OF SUSANOO-NO-MIKOTO, I SHALL SLAUGHTER YOU ALL!"
Whether his oath was heard or not was unknown, yet the sky still shuddered and mended. Susanoo was now trapped in that mortal plain. Trapped until the day he could reclaim his former power and fulfill his oath. And on that day, heaven would shatter under his wrath. However, it seemed that someone may have heard his oath. Or it may have been a coincidence. The fact still remained, someone had heard him.

Standing there, surrounded by a mountain of corpses while covered in blood, missing an arm and with broken legs, stood a god with a face containing a mixture of disbelief, humiliation and hope. And slowly, he lifted his face to the sky and whispered a word only heard by himself and the wind.
(Susanoo) "... Sister?"
