Sorry for the sudden deletion of my fictions. I won’t go into the details, but a number of unfortunate things happened to me in real life and I had something of an existential crisis. Thankfully, I am feeling better now, and I am working to continue Athena’s stories.
In addition, for obvious reasons, the original story of the Starcraft System in the Far Future may potentially have serious copyright issues. I haven't had any troubles with that as of now, but there is always the chance that these issues may haunt me in the future, especially if my work does too well, and that had always been on the back of my mind ever since I began writing. That is why I am planning on making a new version of the story that keeps all my original content (Athena, Venya Imperium...) and replaces the Starcraft system and units with my own original system and combat units. The units and structures will have different names and will have their own original lore and backstories, but it shouldn't be too difficult for fans to make a connection to units of a certain game we all like (cough cough). Most of the plot and the mechanics of the system will remain the same.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
This change will guarantee there won't be any copyright issues and allow me to focus on writing the story.
I will begin posting chapters of the new story on Royalroad and Scribblehub, with the link to this story on Royalroad in the author's notes below. I am unsure how fast I will be able to upload the chapters, but I will do my best to focus on modifying the existing chapters of SSFF before any other writing projects of mine.
I am conflicted on whether to keep the original version of the fiction, with the Starcraft units and systems, on Royalroad as once again I am concerned that may potentially lead to legal issues in the future. I also believe there are plenty of other websites out there that have created backup chapters for the story that people can refer to if they wish.
Once again my apologies for all the confusion. The last two weeks have been quite chaotic for me.
