I'm doing fantastic.......not! Not so fantastic since there's practically nothing to do in my life. Sometimes I wonder if there's any point in living such a boring life. Honestly, I'm bored to death. Well, I'm not willing to do suicide since I'm still young.

That reminds me, I didn't introduce myself did I?

My name is Ren Tatsuki. I'm 17 and a legit male. For the past sixteen years that I remembered, there's nothing worthwhile to mention.

Well, another day like any other that I've had. With the same old, usual routine in the morning, I headed to school.

Eh..... As expected of the first day of school after the summer holiday. It's bustling with youthful and ambitious students. Of course, that didn't include me.

The school bell rang, so I went to my class to attend lessons as usual. The rest of the time at school was normal so I will omit that part.

After ten torturing hours at school including extra-curricular activities, I headed off to home.

I didn't mention this either but I needed to take a train to go home from school and so I'm currently at the train station. My designated train is going to arrive in thirty minutes time.

As I spent my time loitering around the area, I noticed that only a few minutes left until my train arrives using my no brand watch.

In the meantime, I saw a little boy crossing over the safety line. Oi, that's very dangerous you know. What's the kid's mother doing to not pay attention to her son. I could only sigh because of the lack of responsibility the parents have these days.

While sighing, I decided to stop the poor little boy. He might go to the train track and only a minute left on the clock before the train comes here. There were not many people who came here in this area. Even if there were, they're all busy with their mobile phones to even care about the boy.

Seeing that I'm the only one who actually gives a fish about the little boy, I quickly ran towards him as he's nearing the end of the train platform. I'm technically racing against time here.

But you know, unfortunate and stupid things always happens to me at critical times, and that same thing happened just now.

The distance between me and the boy was close so I was 99% sure that I could grab him and most importantly, stop him.

But I was proven wrong by the remaining 1%. There just happened to be a banana's skin right at the path I ran and so I slipped. I slipped not just head first to the ground but also into the train track where there's an incoming train. At the rate I was falling, there's no escaping death.

Before my last moment, I somehow managed to take a glimpse of the little boy. It seemed like he stopped in his track to observe the falling specimen in front of him which was me. I guess I didn't die a dog's death after all. I'm glad.

'At least, I saved a life before dying. My death does look stupid though. With this, I won't regret it as my life finally has a meaning,' was what I thought at the time.

With a smile on my face, the train hit me and I took my final breath.
