It had been about a week since Kama fell from the cliff side and was whisked away by his guardian Toa. Because of the superhuman abilities Kama had displayed, his body unable to deal with the strains of his actions was in ruins. Nearly all of his muscles had been torn and hairline fractures could be seen on the bones in his fists and arms.
“This boy, from the very first time I took him into my care i knew he was amazing. But to be able to unlock the 3rd stage of Soul Finding at this young of an age is remarkable” Toa said to himself as he marveled at Kama. “It’s decided then, I will train Kama to be the best Soul Finder i can. And if I’m correct, He will be able to go further than me in his growth”. To Toa, Kama was indeed a marvel, he showed such astounding ability that it was awe inspiring, and also extremely fearsome. Kama had displayed the third form of Soul Finding even if it was just by sheer luck and circumstance.
Soul Finding has 5 forms so far:
Stage 1: Search, this stage allows the Finder to see the aura of souls residing in objects.
Stage 2: Insight. This stage allows the Finder to see the memories of the object person or thing.
Stage 3: Influence. This stage allows the Finder to tap into the objects soul and display or use it’s abilities. This stage can only be used while wielding the object.
Stage 4: Attunement: This stage allows the Finder to absorb the objects soul into one’s self, allowing them to not only to attain the objects abilities forever. But to also add the soul’s former being to be absorbed into the the Finder’s soul. This allows the Finder’s body and soul to become stronger and lengthening their life
Stage 5: Ascension: This stage allows the Finder to move his soul freely in the mortal plain. Once a Soul Finder has attained enough soul energy to break the bonds of his body. This form is also very vague in terms of concise traits. Each Ascended Soul Finder has his/her own ability specific to their soul.
To most people it would take at least 1 year to reach the first stage of Soul Finding, being able to use all senses to locate Soul Aura’s is extremely hard. Let alone the first stage, Kama had in one moment reached the third stage of Soul Finding. This feat could be said to be impossible. To most Soul Finders it would take half a lifetime to reach the third stage. But to Kama when he was faced with such a situation, his body’s innate ability forced his senses to its peak. This had in turn influenced the soul within the Staff to come forth and help Kama in his time of need.

“Ughhh… mmm… wha… ahhh” Kama began to wake from his sleep. “Wait child, you have to take it slow, your body is in no condition to move yet” Toa said to Kama as he placed his hand on Kama’s shoulder to stop him from getting up. “Toa?... ugh… how… why… I was on a cliff when… Koa, Anu! where are they!?! Are they safe?” Kama shook free from Toa in desperation, which sent blinding pain through his whole body. “Ahhh!” Kama screamed in pain. “Dont worry boy, your friends are safe”.
Kama let out a sigh of relief, and then he looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. “Toa where are we, and why are you here? How did you know where i was?” As Kama began to slowly remember the events of the cliff side, and how he fell he could remember Toa. “Toa as i was falling I saw someone save me, was that you?” Toa grinned at Kama and said “You really thought i was going to let my only pupil die!?!” Kama looked at Toa incredulously “So you were watching us the whole time and you did nothing?!” Kama yelled at Toa with face showing that he felt betrayed by his Teacher and Guardian. “If I had seen that the situation needed me i would’ve saved you three, and I almost did when that girl Anu fell in. But boy am I glad I waited because you showed me a fine show indeed”
Kama looked at Toa with eyes that seemed to show disbelief. “So me and my friends almost dying was entertainment for you?!” Kama said while slowly becoming angrier at his so called “loving” guardian. Toa seeing this retorted with a “Boy! Don’t get lippy with me, you went off and got yourself and your friends into the situation! So dont go blaming me for your mistakes, and own it yourself” Toa’s words hit Kama like a freight train. It was true that all of this was his fault, and if it wasn’t for his actions no one would’ve gotten hurt in the first place. “You’re right Toa, I’m… I’m sorry” Kama said while looking down. “Good, now rest up. You’re in no position to be moving”
After laying down, Kama looked at Toa and said “Toa, I’m worried about Anu and Koa, when will I see them? Why haven’t they come to visit me?” Toa’s reply was firm and straightforward “Don’t worry about them, they haven’t visited because they think you're dead. And that’s a good thing, because when you’re healed enough, we’re leaving to train” These words shocked Kama, but before he could say anything Toa had left.
