Synopsis
I am known as the Reaper, one of the most feared assassins in the world. But before becoming a bedtime story that mothers would use to make their children behave, I grew up an orphan, never knowing who my parents were, or really caring. They left me on the streets to die with nothing but a scar after all. An old woman took me in, sheltering me from the darkness and the cold. She taught me right and wrong, good and bad, kind and cruel, whichever way floats your boat. Then she died and none of that mattered any more. I had to steal and con for a living at the age of eight and, while I didn't know how too at the time, when your life hangs in the balance you learn pretty quick. I learned to be silent, fast and, when I became strong enough, ruthless. These three things became the pillars which carried me to become one of the best thieves in Helmsley. I got cocky and thought that no one could surpass me, at least not on my terms. One day however, when I was about eleven, I decided to take some coin from a passerby. Little did I know that he was the Royal Assassin and the man who would change my life forever.
