The Snow
You wake up one day, the very core of your body wiggling uncontrollably, and you are unable to keep your hands still when you hold it in front of you. You've never felt the air like this before. Is this what cold is? Your best way of explaining it is your skin getting slightly tighter. You step out of your current enclosure to find out what's going on. the green and brown world that you used to know is now gone. Replaced by this white substance. The clouds overhead are gray. As if it was going to rain later on. And hanging off the trees and other ledges around you appeared to be water... if the water was solid.
You go for the solid water first seeing as it's right next to you, among the many other places that it hangs. You reach out and pluck It off the wall and come to realize that it's very brittle. but as you hold it the cold only intensifies in your hand to the point where you feel like what you're holding is hot. You drop the ice in Surprise. It fell to the floor and shattered upon impact as if it was made out of glass.

Ignoring it you leaned down to try to take a closer look at the snow. but when you get close enough to finally see it the heat from your breath causes it to melt. Obscuring what you're looking for behind a thin wall of water. Cautiously you step forward onto this ”white sand“ and become surprised when your foot sinks into it making a crunch sound. Despite being startled by the first step you tenderly take another resulting in another crutch. Your foot sinking into the snow with every step you take as if you were walking through a pile of dead leaves. After walking around in the snow for a few minutes you decide to lay down in it. when you do it forms perfectly to your body and for one whole second you are laying on the most comfortable thing you can possibly imagine... and then it becomes cold as ice
