Hey everyone, it's been a while. First off, I'd like to apologize to all of you for leaving everybody hanging with this story, I know it was really uncool to just fall off the face of the map without posting any updates or anything, and for that I'm sorry. I felt terrible about pushing back the publication date of the second book over and over again, but every time I felt like I'd be able to manage finishing it on time something would happen in my private life that greatly distracted from that. Eventually I missed the last date I'd set and was very busy with moving back to Canada after briefly living in Costa Rica, and before I knew it a couple of months had passed since the projected publication date. Around this time I lost some content when my computer died that I hadn't backed up since I'd been writing almost all waking hours of my day and didn't think my computer would die on me like that. Since then, my replacement computer has also died, which held me up even more so. After all was said and done, I was honestly pretty ashamed for missing my own deadlines and sort of distanced myself from this story because of it, since I was constantly busy with full-time university and putting out 3,000 words per week for patrons of my other series, The Archaic Ring. Another thing that discouraged me was that the first book had around 2,000 reads on this site, but only sold eleven copies, 7 of which were bought by family and friends. From all the stress that'd been building up and my 60-hour weeks as it were, thinking about the cost of the cover art and the hundreds of hours I'd put into the story made me wonder if it was worth working on, and I eventually started working on a new series. I'm not trying to make excuses or whine, I feel terrible about leaving everyone in the dark and it's something I've thought about very often. I'm very sorry for that.
In the end I loved this story too much to stay away from it and decided to put my other work on pause so that I could rewrite some of the lost content and continue on to finish the second book. The second part of this announcement is to let you all know that the second book is now finished, and that I'll be publishing it on the 1st of May (barring any obstacles) on Amazon under the title of The Timeless Curse. I hope that you all take the chance to continue reading this work, for it's something that I'm very proud of having written and a story that I think will be well received for the most part. As you might have seen, I've returned the entirety of the first book, The Ancient Crystal, to royalroad and have withdrawn from the Amazon KU program that prohibited me from posting more than 10% of it anywhere else but on their site. This content is SLIGHTLY different than what you've all originally read, for it's been edited several times over while around half of what's been posted to RR have been rough drafts (I switched the original content with the published copy's). Like this, anyone who wants to reread the story to refresh their memories can do so.

Lastly, I won't be enrolling the second book in the KU program and have decided to post it all here on RR. Over the next couple of months, I'll be posting at least once per day. For those who enjoy this series' style of storytelling and are still interested in more content, you might be happy to hear that this book is very long--642 word document pages, single spaced, or somewhere around 1,000 kindle pages, with only the first 113 having been posted to RR. I'll begin posting today, immediately after I finish this post.
