On a restless night in Star City, the city that never sleeps. Below the dark-greyish blue skies and scattered clouds around the full moon glowing its majestic light over the earth. A black helicopter with SCPD on the side flew slightly above the skyscrapers of Star City.
The doors of the chopper were wide open, and two fully armed SCPD agents in tactical gear sat at each side of the chopper. Looking down on the roofs of the buildings below, while a light from underneath the helicopter shone back and forth across the roofs.
One of two pilots at the front of the helicopter pressed a button on the dashboard and pulled a transceiver two-way radio walkie-talkie from the roof, then held it to his mouth.
"Black Eagle reporting to base, Black Eagle reporting to base."
Krssshhhhh! The transceiver sounded with static.
"Acknowledge. Have you found our target?" a muffled voice came from the radio.
"Negative, target has not been found as yet."
"We received intel target would be present at a corporate event around 21:00. Target is a well know boss of the Tsergonov crime family. We must apprehend him at all costs," said the muffled voice from the radio.
The pilot steering the chopper tapped on the other pilot's shoulder and nodded to a skyscraper a few spaces ahead of them, where the roof was lit with party lights and filled with formally dressed people. The sound of an elegant band playing jazz music was loud enough to be heard from their position.
"I think we're onto him now," the pilot said into the radio.
The helicopter hovered over the roof of the tall building, and the wind from the powerful blades propellers blew the women's garments about, causing them to hold down their dresses. Everyone stopped what they were doing including the musicians, and began to murmur in confusion seeing the chopper above their heads, disrupting their gathering.
One of the armed agents sat out from the chopper with a megaphone aimed at the roof full of people, increasing the volume of his voice. While the other agent at the other side of the chopper aimed his gun at the crowd, using his scope to try and find the target.
"SCPD! Nobody move! Stay where you are! Kabroski Tsergonov! Step out where we can see you! Comply and you will live!"
The agent with the scope pointed his gun down at a bald middle-aged man in a three-piece suit. "I found him!"
"Kabroski Tsergonov! You are under arrest! Move and we WILL shoot you!" echoed the agent with the megaphone.
The man stepped out to the center of the roof while the other people gathered away from him in confusion. The light from the chopper shone down in a straight line on the man, causing him to put his arms over his eyes, peeking up through his fingers.
A back rope ladder fell from the chopper and unto the roof. The agent came off seat his seat and began to slowly climb his way down the ladder.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! An ear-shattering explosion sounded above and raging winds blew heavily from the skies, parting the clouds with great force.
The winds howled at the helicopter blowing it away from the rooftop. And it began to spin around in circles, causing the pilots to lose control of it. The agent on the seat was flung from the chopper heading for a long fall down, while the other on the rope was struck by a bolt of lighting which knocked him off. The helicopter crashed into the side of another building and exploded in flames sending glass splinters in the air.
The people on the roof fell to the ground screaming, some curling into a ball, some trying to run downstairs as fireballs merged with unearthly rocky debris fell from the skies.

A large ball of light blue energy formed far up above the parted clouds, with a light almost as bright as the sun which covered the entire city in a white flare. In the blinding glimmer of light, the sound of cars colliding, panicked screams, and tires screeching ran a mock below the roofs, while lightning bolts struck the structures, posts, and buildings without mercy.
A great ball of fire surrounded by a blue aura came hurling from the skies at terrifying speeds, breaking through the earth's barrier with great force, tearing through the air with a deafening noise.
It flew right into the wastelands near the city, and afterward, a loud BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!! reverberated throughout the land, forming a crater in the desert.
Everyone in the city felt a great tremor under their feet from wherever they stood, and buildings started to crack and fall apart as people ran in all different directions, screaming as they tried to flee from the collapsing structures and falling space rocks. From the skies fell blue rain droplets upon the city, battering the rubbles of the fallen buildings covering the street.
The survivors ran about the rubble in all different directions trying to flee the city, some searching for their friends, families, colleagues and loved ones. While some using it as an opportunity to loot the stores that stood undestroyed.
The tremor went on for a few minutes, snapping huge skyscrapers like lego and tall apartments crumbling like biscuits. Soon, and slowly, the earth began to cease shaking, and everything stood still again. The skies released its last batch of blue rain, signaling the end of the traumatic event. But the thundering red glow left in the skies with a dust plume under the clouds remained a mental and physical scar to all who witnessed this event.
In minutes, another Black Hawk multirole helicopter, army green this time, hovered over the half-destroyed metropolitan city with its powerful propellers cutting the air. Two soldiers sat by the door both holding their ears. It was as if their ears were stuffed with cotton after being exposed to such extreme sound levels paired with a slight ringing.
"Hey! Look over there!" one of the pilots pointed at a crater in the desert before the windshield.
The other soldier in the back pushed his pinky into his ear jerking it, "What!"
"Look! Unidentified aircraft laying immobile!" he pointed to the windshield and looked back in the passengers' seats.
The pilot pressed a few buttons on the dashboard and turned the cyclic gear downward with both hands, then pressed a pedal on the ground with his foot. The helicopter slowly landed in the crater a good feet from what looked like a space pod lodged in the ground with the door facing out.
Four soldiers fully armed with automatic rifles came from the helicopter and cautiously walked toward the strange pod, aiming their guns at the strange aircraft no bigger than a small car.
They stood before the alien-like machine and each inspected the strange designs with their eyes. It was shaped like a ball with a special type of tinted glass, but it was beaten up and full of scrapes and dents all over.
One soldier reached out his hand to touch the glass and wiped away the ash covering it. His eyes widened behind his safety goggles seeing a teenage boy sitting unconsciously in the pod.
"What the- . . . Guys, you won't believe this," said the soldier with his hand on the pod, in awe of the blue light in the pod glowing through the glass.
The other soldiers walked up to inspect the strange pod except one who stayed near the helicopter.
Krssshhhhhkkk! A walkie-talkie sounded from the chest of the soldier at the helicopter. "Bravo six, this is delta fox. What the hell is happening out there? Over."
"Copy that. We have just experienced some seismic activity across Star City," the soldier paused to look around the outskirts of the battered city across a cracked highway road between it and the wasteland, "Possibly a 9.0 magnitude earthquake by the looks of things. The city is in pretty bad shape, over."
Krshhhhhk! The radio sounded. "What of the civilians? Are they being evacuated to safety? Over."
"We sent out a signal to the SCPD and the local fire department. They are on their way to help with the evacuation," the soldier paused to look up at his comrades waving at him to come over.
"But hold on a minute Black Delta. We have a grounded unidentified aircraft of the likes I've never seen. Looks almost, alien. This can't be real."
The soldier walked up to the pod and rested his hands on the glass, the blue light glowing on his face, his mouth gaped in astoundment by the being on the inside of the strange aircraft. The door to the pod flew open like the sound of a soda bottle, and a puff of silver-white gas emitted from the aircraft causing the men to cough.
Spooked and wary, the soldiers quickly stepped back and positioned their weapons at the young boy who sat with his eyes closed in the pod wearing an all-white uniform, with an open tear across the chest, revealing his skin.
The soldier at the back of the group held his walkie-talkie up to his mouth, "Come in?"
Krssssshhkk! "Go ahead."
"Send a H.E.T. out here. The higher-ups are gonna wanna see this. I'll send you the coordinates now."
"Roger that, out," the muffled voice on the radio cut out, just as the sound of a siren echoed down the cracked main street leading out of the city to the highway.
