The Shallow Eclipse.
Before the sun arrives.

Before the sun arrives.

A loud bang of thunder could be heard coming from outside the stained glass window. The light glosses over the hardwood floors, which creek with every step. The ears of a dark crimson colored fox perk up from the sudden thundering. The fox rises up, her crimson fur shining like a red cloth in the light casted down by the moon. She begins to rise up off the ground, and walk toward a slightly opened, tall, wooden door. She pushes it open with her front paws, then proceeds to walk down the dark tinted halls.

The fox's eyes glow in the dim lighting, casting a light orange glow. She comes across a long spiraled staircase, and trots carefully down it. Once at the end, the fox let's out a soft call, and suddenly, another dark, pastel pink colored fox arises from the dark room. The second fox growls at the crimson fox, then slowly relaxes. It seems to have been started by the other fox's presence. She takes a step to the crimson one, and light presses her nose against her forehead. "Thank the moons you're okay..." The pink fox mumbles softly.

"It's alright... I was just left with a few injures, Nothing more." The other mutters back. The crimson fox sits down, cleaning off the deep, bloody wound along her own arm. The pink fox takes a long, slow breath, then brushes her tails against the other fox. "You can't be risking your life like this constantly. I can't afford to loose the love of my life so soon." She spoke softly, feeling a pang of guilt in her chest. The crimson fox smiles a little, and let's out a light-hearted giggle.

"I promise you, everything will be fine." The pink one sighs, and nods. "Alright Rosyta, but if you die I won't forgive myself." She warned. Rosyta looks back up from cleaning off her wound, and sighs. "Fine Chyri, I'll be more careful next time." Rosyta promised, then made her way back up the stairs. Although Chyri didn't fully believe her, she decided to leave Rosyta alone anyways.
