Prologue

Legends are woven through the ages, whispers of a forgotten past, echoes of an uncertain future. In every civilization, a prophecy takes root, grows, and spreads, each race believing that its heroine or hero will be born to change the face of the world. But in this world of war, politics, and magic, the truth is far more complicated than the myths suggest.

On the human continent of the South, an empire rises, arrogant and greedy for land, its population of half-humans from various origins striving to carve out a place in this vast expanse of sand and iron. Across the way, to the East, the elves live in communion with nature, worshiping the World Tree, while the dwarves, masters of steam engines and forge, rule over their mountains, their gaze fixed on the horizon of an impending war. Further North, in the darkness, demons prepare for their invasion, a demon king ruling over a devouring nobility, ready to crush anyone who opposes their ambition. And to the West, the angels, with unmatched magical power, weave their plans, their three archangels silent spectators of a world burning in the flames of conflict.

The Center, this strange forbidden continent, is a land of mysteries, a place even the bravest dare not challenge. Yet its shadow looms over the world, a well-kept secret that only the wisest dare to speak of.

In this world, every race dreams of a new era, an era where the foretold hero will overthrow the established order, for better or for worse. But beliefs differ, paths are many, and the protagonists of this coming age are not those one might expect.

He was just a simple reader, lost in the pages of a novel. But one evening, as reality distorted and the lines of his world blurred, he found himself thrown into the universe he had so cherished.

Another protagonist, a piece of the puzzle in an epic tale where every decision could break or shape the future. Yet, he was not alone. Others, like him, had been torn from their world and cast into this one.

Allies, enemies, betrayals. Every move could alter the course of the story he knew. But the truth hides in the shadows, and he is far more than just a spectator of the events.

In this world where anything is possible, the story is rewritten with every moment. And perhaps, just perhaps, this long-awaited hero will never be born as imagined.
