Chapter 2: Klein Particles
Year 2048 when a former scientist in CERN have discovered a substance that would change the world forever and they name it as Klein Particles. Which is name after the first person who discovered this miraculous phenomenon.
Dr. Michael Klein has become popular because of this discovery Klein Particles itself is considered as the greatest discovery of mankind comparable to the 3rd industrial revolution. Klein Particles is considered as a miraculous substance as it can do a lot of things like in medicine, metallurgy, machinery, and even to the evolution of our own technology.
They called it as a miraculous substance because Klein particles have opened up unlimited possibilities for human evolution. Every time that humans applied Klein particles into a specific field they always got a surprised of their life for getting a good result. They tried it in agriculture and the yield of crops have increase by 400% and in aquaculture exposure to Klein particles have shown that the growth of fishes have more than doubled shortening the harvest time of fishes and increasing the production rate of food.
A discovery that shakes the entire world.
Especially with the increasing human population and increasing effect of global warming affecting our food security. As food is becoming harder to procure since our land and sea also have a limit of how much it can produce in a year. So when people found out about the miraculous effect of the application of Klein particles, it immediately became the popular topic of development of many scientist and businessman.
Mike remember everything clearly since he was already 15 years old when Klein particles is on the heights of its popularity and it even has its own subjects on their school curriculum.

In the present time, for the current surviving member of humanity, they all have a mixed reaction when it comes to the discovery of Klein particles. You can even call it as a love hate relationship.
The World Disaster begun when an old country in the west suddenly weaponized the used of Klein Particles leading to the destruction of the old society.
The miraculous particles we held as the tool of creation of mankind have become a weapon of destruction in a blink of an eye just because some people are greedy for more.

Gone is days we roam free on our planet as it is now filled with danger that even our most powerful weapon are powerless to stop it. Humans have lost their freedom in land and sky. And now we can only enjoy our peace inside the cages of our shelter which is within the walls of sanctuary located in different part of the world.
When the world went to shit Mike was already 15 years old, so he was already aware of everything that is happening around him. But for Mike it felt like it only happen yesterday as everything is still fresh within his memory.
He can still remember the layout of his old school and his old house even the faces of his classmates. He just turn 15 that time when it all begun Mike clearly remembered that it was just the May of 2068 just a month after celebrating his 15th birthday when a shocking news have suddenly exploded in the internet.
During that time an isolated Military base in the pacific has been reported to be destroyed but the cause of it’s destruction is still unknown as authorities are still investigating the incident, and of course, it quickly gather the attention of the entire world as this country is known for its powerful military.
The destruction of one of its bases might spark a war itself if it was proven to be attacked by another country so the result of their investigation is worthy to gather the attention of the world. But then, after two days of waiting, suddenly all of the information about this incident has been censored and every articles about this has been taken down from the internet. Leaving many people confused.

Upon topping the search topic in social media the government has immediately release a claim that the information about this incident is just a hoax and the military based still exist.
This moved of the western nation have quickly aroused the curiosity of many people, wondering on why did it took them 2 days before they were able to give a proper response.
Although many citizens have raised their eye brows regarding this incident many still believe in them as it would be impossible for this western country to stay still, if someone really attack one of their military based since they were known for being strict when it comes to their own sovereignty and any signs of invasion within their land would have to deal with their entire army.
Everything quickly came back to normal and it stay that way for several weeks.
Although there are still some sporadic discussion about this news on the internet since there are still some people who are doubtful regarding this whole ordeal.
Mike can clearly remember everything about this as he was one of those people who isn’t convince about this dire situation as he sense that there was something going on under the cover of public media. But since he was just a young student at this time all he can do is talk about this issue on a small group of people on the internet or to some of his classmates but none have really taken this seriously.
Even Mike himself aren’t willing to believe that there would be someone out there willing to attack their military base in that far side of the globe as they were known for being the number 1 military power in the world. Mike also knows that this western country wouldn’t stay still if they were attack by someone nor they would try to hide about this thing as it would be a big issue on their status. And Mike didn’t see any reason on why would they even hide this kind of issue especially if it involves the other nation.
But what the world didn’t expect is that the western country really lie to all of them.
It was only revealed after a month of the original incident. After someone from the Asian country have released some captured images of their satellite showing the ruined based of the western powerhouse asking them for an explanation.
At first, only the higher ups of this Asian nation were made aware of this issue, but someone from those people have leak this secrets on the public, arousing the public anger of many western citizens for their government have deceive them of the truth.
Once again, the western country have captured the attention of the entire world but it didn’t even take long before it was immediately replaced by a more shocking news.
Something that would change the entire course of the world.
Mike still remember that it was just the 3rd day of June of 2068 just 3 days after the entire ordeal with the revelation of the truth when suddenly a new incident have quickly risen in the internet attracting the attention of the entire world.
This time it didn’t just affect one country but it targets everyone’s fears.
The Northern country located near the pole was attack by a huge monster, destroying its capital city and razing everything to the ground. Leaving nothing on its path but destruction, and even the nuclear bombs they have detonated are incapable of putting it down, the monster seems to be unstoppable not until it was hit by the western country’s new orbital weapon creating a huge crater on its wake.
The world was once again in turmoil. A monster of an unknown origin have suddenly appeared and its capable of surviving the detonation of multiple nuclear warheads. And also the world have finally discovered for the first time that the western country actually has a hidden weapon in sky capable of killing millions of people in instant and even decimating an entire country to rubbles.
That day many people haven’t gotten enough sleep before another monster shows up, this time it was attacking an Oil rig in the middle of the sea killing 90% of its workers as the monster have sunk the rig in the deep ocean leaving only a few survivor.
This is the time where Mike realize that the world have entered an unknown path that would lead them to a new age. At first, Mike was optimistic about the development of technology of mankind specially after seeing the picture of the hidden weapon of the Western country.
It wasn’t just a satellite orbiting the planet but an entire station capable of sustaining human life for a long time. At first, it was effective in killing those creatures but as time goes by even this weapon have become less effective causing a mass exodus of people from planet earth.
For those who have the means to leave the planet they all evacuated to other places like an outpost or artificial satellite to keep their selves safe from this horrors. But many was left behind to deal with this problem causing a devastating war against this creature destroying a huge part of the land.
For years, some scientists had warned of the dangers of Klein particles and the catastrophic consequences that could result from their excessive use. But despite their warnings, humanity had continued to exploit these powerful and mysterious particles, using them to fuel their advanced technologies and power their way of life.
And now, it seemed that those warnings had finally come true. The world was a dangerous and chaotic place, filled with radiation and monstrous creatures. Cities had been reduced to ruins, and the once-great civilizations of humanity had crumbled.

So, with a sense of determination and purpose to live, Mike set out to find a way to survive this hell. He knew that it wouldn't be easy, but he was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
And as he his journey, Mike knew that he was not alone. He was part of a community of survivors, all fighting to survive wishing for a better future in a world that seemed determined to tear them apart. But he hasn’t even begun his adventure but life seems cruel as it made him realize how fragile they are in the face of this new treat as he watch those monsters tear those people he just became friends with into pieces.
