"I'm glad that we got out of there alive." Mark said and the others agreed with him.
"I honestly thought that we were going to die." Itulu said.
"Guys follow me I think that I need to show you two what I saw when he linked with my mind." Lunu said somberly.
"Linked with your mind?" Mark asked. Lunu nodded at Mark, and they started to walk towards where the others had attacked Zirel. The walk over to the remains of the part of the party that left them was a quiet walk and the air felt heavy. Not a single word was uttered. However, the walk was short. Itulu's lunch had decided to make an exit the moment that they saw what happened to the other corpses. Even though he was an adventurer and had seen his fair share of death this was more barbaric than anything else he had seen.
"What happened, why did he do this?" Mark asked while tears ran down his face.
"Simple. The idiots attacked him without uttering a word to him. The feeling that I had when we linked minds was that he was just going to ignore them. It seems to me that they were just pests nothing more." Lunu said.
"Just pests? They were B1 ranked adventurers. One was on the cusp of becoming a A10." Itulu said in surprise and anger.
"Zirel is more than likely a threat far beyond that. I cannot say for sure but he might be a threat far beyond what we could imagine." Lunu said.
"Do you really believe that Lunu?" Mark asked skeptically.
"I do. I think that it is best we abandoned the quest to bring him to the queen of the Elvish Imperium. If we try and press him we definitely will die. He is far beyond our abilities." Lunu said.
Meanwhile from Zirel's POV
She looks so much like her mother. Zirel says with a smile remembering the kindness of Luna. I don't know if I am making the right decision abandoning her with the monsters that are around here, but I just can't stand to be around humans. Out of all the monsters that I have encountered in my life Humans are the vilest. Normal monsters kill you for food. Humans aim to hurt you every way possible for the fun of it. I can respect a monster it has no other motive than to survive the same as any other beast, But a human. Zirel scoffs at the notion. I don't know maybe if they start to leave I might watch over her. I couldn't live with myself if I let Luna's daughter get hurt while I was around. I don't know if she would even want to see me after I went through her mind to see Luna again. She was the only friend I had. The only one in that fucking place that didn't hurt me. I had to know what she thought of me while she was away. I didn't know she pitted me as much as she did.

Tears start to flow down Zirel's face as the memories flood into his mind of the times Luna and Lunu had together and seeing Luna's happy face. Zirel was happy to see on her final day she was so happy with her daughter and happy to see him. This also gave way to anger, a blinding inferno of rage aimed towards the people that took her away from him. He is glad that he killed those men. To Zirel they were worse than the beast that they built those walls to protect themselves against. "Perhaps one day I will bring down those walls around the city." He thought to himself.
"My wings are starting to hurt." He says with a huff. He takes off his shirt that he stole from a trader 5 years ago when he escaped. "If I would have known that I would grow wings to match my fathers I would have stolen something with slits in them." He thought as he spread his wings out wide. It always hurts to hide them, but it was necessary. He was being tracked, and a set of large white wings stand out in a forest. "Maybe I should follow her just to make sure that she makes it out of here safely." Zirel thought to himself. With that thought he followed the scents of the piss of her companions and was able to spot the group walking along. Zirel stopped when he noticed that the forest surrounding the group became deafly quite.
LUNU's group POV
"Hey I can't help but feel like we are being followed." Mark said while looking around.
"Yea I feel it too but I think that it is probably just some forest creature or something. At least I hope it's only that." Lunu said.
"What ever it is I think that I should be able to take it." Itulu said with confidence that he didn't feel. After all he came closer to death today than he ever had. The trio all felt the same way. Thats when they we ambushed by a large drake. The three jumped into action dodging the initial lunging swipe the Drake attacked. The size of this drake put it an mid A rank threat at least. "Fuck we're in trouble we need to find a way to get out of here." Mark shouted while dropping onto his stomach to avoid another Drake swipe.
"No we need to surround it and attack separately." Itulu shouted.
"Fuck that I can't do attack...." Lunu said before she was cut off. She had lost focus on the drake and it lunged at her and pinned her to the ground. She was terrified. " Is this it for me? I am so dead and I paid for a month of rent already." Lunu thought. Mark tried to shoot the drake with his bow, and Itulu tried to punch the drake in the head, both with no luck. Itulu was sent flying by a tail swipe into Mark. "NOOOOOOO!" Itulu shouted as the drake was about to bite Lunu in half. Suddenly the group was in shock. Zirel landed in front of Lunu and the drake disregarded Lunu. This new person being a far bigger threat than Mark and Itulu are. One might say that drake are just stupid beast, but they are related to dragons and do share the intelligence to a degree.
The drake let out a roar and so did Zirel. The Drake tried to swipe at Zirel, but Zirel caught the monsters' arm and swung the monster slamming it on its back. The Drake was quick to get back up slung a boulder at Zirel with a tail whip. Zirel swatted the boulder to the side before launching his own vicious attack. He charged the drake and kicked at its side. It connected with a deafening thud and sent the drake currying sideways knocking over several trees along the way. The drake tried to recover, but Zirel was faster and was upon it before the drake could get back to his feet stomping on the back of the drake breaking its spine. Zirel then inflected the ultimate humiliation on the drake. He started to eat the drake alive, showing it that Zirel didn't think he was even worth the effort to finish off.
