Gene's POV
Darkness was all that could be seen. I could not open my eyes, feel my feet or move my body. Was I dead? Or was I in a comatose state waiting for the right moment to regain consciousness? These were the question I asked myself. As if responding to my questions a female voice reverberated inside my head. It sounded a lot like the modulated voice I fitted into Liza but it was more natural and less computerized. This is what the voice said.
"Searching for a vacant vessel. Vessel Located. Confirming compatibility. Compatibility confirmed. Initiating soul transfer sequence. Sequence completed. Soul transfer complete. Primary Objective achieved. Transferring Liza's data. Data transferred. Secondary objective achieved. Going to sleep mode."
Immediately after hearing those words, the darkness that surrounded me suddenly faded and was replaced with a bright blinding light. The blinding light slowly reduced in intensity slowly revealing blurry images straight into my eyes. I blinked to reduce the pain I was feeling in my eyes. The images then came to focus.
I was lying down surrounded by several women who seemed to be so tall that one could mistake them for giants. Looking around I could see I was in a European medieval decorated style room.
The women were also not dressed in a modern way. Their clothing looked a lot like something you would see in a fantasy manga.
They constantly spoke a language I could not comprehend. I soon assumed that this was a dream and I was lying down somewhere unconscious. I decided to let things take their course assuming that I would eventually wake up or die wherever I was.
As if prompted by my current circumstances, a memory of my friend Ota Trevor who talked famously of isekai mangas came to mind. I joked to myself saying maybe I had been isekaied into such a world of magic. The next thing that happened afterward made me think and consider it as a possibility.
Crystal's POV
It is late at night. The castle staff is in a panic. The weather is quite chaotic and in a complete state of havoc. The rain is pouring down as it has never before. The thunder accompanying it grows more intense with each passing minute. I have currently been summoned to Her royal highness the second princess of the royal Kingdom of Bermone princess Diane's quarters. I am a royal midwife and as one am supposed to aid her with the delivery of her first child.
This delivery is quite waring as it is considered a bad omen for a child to be born during a chaotic night like the one we have today. I prepared my tools and headed straight to princess Diane's chambers to deliver the child. I got to work as soon as I arrived.
The delivery was a problematic one, this was because the child's feet were the first to emerge. For proper delivery, the head emerges first otherwise the child would suffer injuries that sometimes can be fatal. To prevent this I was to change the position of the feet and the head by pushing the baby back in and then rotating it so then it could come out with its head. This was a delicate process that required uttermost care as I could easily break the baby's bones if I was not careful. The process was long and tiresome but I was able to make it emerge with its head. Now it was time for us to deliver the baby. After a while, the baby was out, but he looked weird. He was not crying not even letting out a whimper. This was a problem therefore I checked the baby's heartbeat to confirm if it had one. I find out it had no heartbeat. It was a stillbirth. I was about to put the baby down and go tell the princess the bad news when a bright lightning flashed blinding me momentarily. When I regained my sight the baby was animated and surprisingly moving so energetically. This seemed weird and suspicious but I said nothing about it. I just told the princess that she had delivered a boy and showed him to her. She was so happy since this was the first male child born to the royal house of Wemberly. She was happy that she had a son who could compete in the contest of Royals, from which the next heir to the throne is determined.

Diane's POV
My gestation period has felt quite like an eternity. Finally, after a long while my child is here. I have waited for this day for so long I am glad it's here.
The delivery was not a joke. The pain I endured could drive people mad. This was after Crystal the royal midwife informed me there was a complication with the delivery that she had to attend to before the child was finally with us. At some point, I thought that it was going to pass on but by good luck, it survived. I was happy when I was told it was a boy. This is because the child would have a higher chance of becoming a candidate for the throne. Finally, a boy from me had been born into the Wemberly house.
Usually, there's a competition in which the children of the house of Wemberly participate. The 8 lucky winners get to become candidates to be the next heir to the throne. All genders are allowed to participate but usually, the tests are favorable to male candidates as compared to females. So far I am the one who has mothered a male child and this is a big advantage to my child Ray Wemberly. I immediately called in the royal appraisal master to appraise his attributes and magic power.
Tina's POV
Being a royal appraisal master and a court mage for the house of Wemberly can be quite a demanding job. I am responsible for determining the magic power and also the aptitude towards magic attributes of members of the royal family.
Today I have been summoned to go and appraise the newest member of the royal family. His name is Ray Wemberly. When I arrived, set up my equipment and appraised the child I found out he had no mana or aptitude toward any type of magic. This was quite a surprise. A first case where there was a person who did not have mana or magic power in them and of royal blood at that. I subtly broke the news to her Royal Highness Princess Diane. She was not pleased by this but what can I do that is what his results showed.
