Prologue
The Saint-God Sect, one of the strongest sect within the Divine Realm was currently escaping from their pursuers.
“Xiu’er, You need to go to the Dimensional Rift Portal and use it to escape! Only you can rebuild our Saint-God Sect.” Instructed a bearded old man to a young woman.
Hearing her grandfather’s instruction, Lu Xiu reluctantly nodded her head before answering with trembling voice, “Yes…” She was well aware that her sect was going to stall time for her so that she can escape safely.
Approaching Lu Xiu, the bearded old man concentrated a large amount of qi in his fingertips before infusing it into the baby’s forehead that she was carrying. A shiny golden cross slowly started forming on the baby’s forehead from the bearded old man’s fingertips.
Once he was done, the bearded old man turned his head, glancing into a direction before saying to Lu Xiu, “Go!”
Noticing that the pursuers were approaching, Lu Xiu started running as fast as she could towards the deepest part of the forest. It was where the Dimensional Rift was located.
Within the group of pursuers, Li Su noticed with his keen eyes that a young woman from the Saint-God Sect was escaping alone, abandoning her sect.
“Fang’er, take care of that woman.” Looking at her with cold eyes, Li Su ordered to his son who was next to him.
“Yes!” Hearing her father’s voice, Li Fang immediately started chasing after Lu Xiu.
Their goal was to completely destroy the Saint-God Sect. It was totally meaningless for them if one of them survived, especially if she was from the main branch. Li Su was extremely careful when carrying that extermination mission. It was better to eliminate the seed when he could before they could grow up into a deadly plant, endangering his clan later in the future.

Arriving in front of an ancient-looking portal made from stones, Lu Xiu hurriedly took out a dark violet stone from her pocket. That stone was called the Dimensional Rift Activating Stone which was necessary to open the Dimensional Rift Portal.

But the quality didn’t matter, the real problem Lu Xiu had at this moment was the time and the cost it needed to activate the Dimensional Rift Portal.
Concentrating the qi on her hand, the Dimensional Rift Activating Stone slowly started to shine as it absorbed the qi’s energy on Lu Xiu’s palm. She tried to fasten the process by infusing a large amount of qi, but it still needed her more than fifteen minutes to fully activate the stone. Fortunately, her qi was extremely pure due to the Saint-God Bloodline, but she still took 5 minutes to finish activating the Dimensional Rift Activating Stone.
Finishing to activate the Dimensional Rift Activating Stone, she activated the Dimensional Rift Portal, but when she was about to enter the portal, a sharp pain pierced her heart. It was a thin yellow beam made from qi.
Since Lu Xiu had just finished activating the portal, she lowered her guard during a few seconds which allow Li Fang to sneak attack her. It was a concentrated thin qi but the piercing power of this beam must not be underestimated; even if she could have protected herself with a layer of qi surroundings her body, it couldn’t protect her from that attack.
The stronger the barrier, the larger amount of qi one needed to use, and since she already used quite a huge amount of qi to activate the Dimensional Rift Activating Stone, the qi within her body was almost depleted.
Normally, one didn’t need much energy as to deplete all of his qi to activate the Dimensional Rift Activating Stone, but since she recklessly infused a surplus of qi to activate it faster, it drained her a massive amount qi compared to the norm.
Coughing a large amount of blood, Lu Xiu forced herself to walk towards the Dimensional Rift Portal. Step by step, the portal was closer and closer from her reach. She couldn’t allow her sect to extinguish here.
Even if her internal wound was deadly, there were many medicines that could heal internal wounds but Lu Xiu wasn’t stupid; she knew that the person behind her won’t let her escape until that he confirmed that she truly died. Even so, she keeps forcing herself to reach the Dimensional Rift Portal.
Watching the wasted efforts from Lu Xiu, Li Fang felt pity for the young woman in front of her. He obviously knew her, she was even one of the woman that Li Fang fell in love with back then, he felt that it was a shame to kill such a beautiful.
Closing his eyes, Li Fang moved horizontally his fingertip which was pointed at Lu Xiu. The thin yellowed-beam which was still on Lu Xiu’s heart followed Li Fang’s fingertip which cut her lower and upper body in half. Li Fang didn’t want to watch this scene as he turned around and left.
What Li Fang didn’t know as he left, was that Lu Xiu managed to send her baby on the Dimensional Rift Portal right after that her upper body was sent flying.
“Always…Stay...Strong...Xun’er….” As Lu Xiu confirmed that her baby entered the portal, a relieved expression followed by a warm smile showed on her face as she muttered her last words.
That day, every member from the Saint-God Sect without exception were successfully exterminated. This was the end of the era of the Saint-God Sect. That was what everyone within the God’s Domain thought at that moment, but they will learn in the future that it was not the case at all — a bloody path was awaiting them.
