* Due to her encounter with the Clockwork Champion, and the subsequent conversations with her, she has started to put in question the beliefs she was taught by the church. This can lead to a certain instability and uncertainty on her part. Especially now that she has encountered the Black Hand.
* Her experience and trauma at the hand of the (now deceased) bandit chief has deeply marked her. While she is recovering, she still retains stigmas of the attack on her person. As such she has a certain subconscious fear of men. Intimacy problems with the opposite sex are expected, even if basic interactions seems to have no effect.

Bio :
Hesca Veneli was born on the 23rd of Edia 1495, of the Turmoil Era, in a small northern village of the Human Empire called Fhurd. Her father and mother were Navell and Esa Veneli. Much to the disappointment of her parents, she was an only child. However, that didn't stop them from loving their daughter, and providing for her as best as they could, despite their modest upbringing.
She grew up on her parents farm, while learning the trade. After a simple and uneventful childhood, she discovered her talent for the sword, thanks to a friend of her dad, who worked as a guard in the village. Seeing a way for their daughter to escape the poor life of a farmer, her parents pushed her to pursue this path. Hesca Veneli then trained with the Guard of their village, where she eventually enrolled for a period of 3 cycles as part of the watch. During that period, Hesca honed the limited skills she had.
However, just before her 20th birthday, a wolf attack robbed her of both her parents. Following a short grieving period, she sold the inherited farm and started a career as an adventurer, leaving her hometown behind.
She ended up staying in the North, doing requests and climbing in ranks for a few cycles. While not famous by any stretch of the imagination, she got a reputation for being reliable at the local guild branch, and for doing things by the book. She didn't join any premade parties for requests, always taking missions which suited her strength and abilities best and making due with what was available.
Eventually, after amassing enough money and gaining her fourth rank, she moved south to pursue more lucrative and interesting contracts. Her last recorded mission was a caravan escort mission. Because the caravan never reached its destination, an army patrol was dispatched. They found the site of the attack, but were unable to track the perpetrators. Assumed to have been attacked by a large and organized bandit band, Hesca, along with all other adventurers and civilians that were part of the caravan, were presumed to be dead, or worse, sold as slaves out of the Empire. As of today, a bounty of ten golden ducats is still being offered for any information leading to the capture or elimination of the bandit band operating in the area.
