Territory of Zehan, Seeing Wheat fields mature and ready for harvest. In the forest we see a flash. A man was using his binoculars and speaking to the person holding a radio.

“Recon-32, This Overlord-1 Any signs of movement inside Zehan Territory, over.” The sound of radio going off.

“Nothing so far Overlord, over”

“Roger 32. Move to the next location, Overlord-1 out.”

“Ok Nick, Lets grab our gear and head out to the next point.”

Nick and his partner grab their gears and prepares to head out.

As they start to move to their next location. Nick forgot his binoculars and looks behind and see his partner get shot by an arrow on his back piercing his chest.

“TIM!” Nick rush and catches him.

“Tell…Ov…er…lo…ord…” Tim says his final world, Nick puts him down and closes his eyes.

He grabs the radio and he gasp as he sees his stomach got pierced by an arrow. Another arrow struck him in his lungs. Nick spat out of his blood, he kneels down grabbing his stomach. He glances on a Dark Figure in the distance. He sees an arrow flying towards him and hit between his eyes. Nick falls.

The man is wearing dark clothes, The man smiles and behind his back is the army of the Coalition, marching towards Andrepan Territory.

Andrepan’s Border from the east is surrounded by the famous Windshire Mountain Range. The mountain range isn't the only famous landmark east of Andrepan, The first king of Andrepan took advantage of the great gates and build forts. Now the forts is being turned into an advance supply hub future offensive on the Coalition.

The Echo-2 are gathered in the field for Announcement and Oath Ceremony.

A commander walks in front of the garrison.

“Attention everybody. I’ve got some bad news.” He said loudly

“Due to the Slow production of Ammo and Shells. Our next supply delivery will be delayed for a month. On the other hand our daily commodities are going to be deliver next week. That’s all for the announcement, continue your duties and have good month.” The commander leaves. A soldiers steps in front to start the Oath Ceremony.

The soldiers raise their right hand. “I, a soldier of Andrepan will protect this nation. It is my land of birth and my home. Andrepan protects, aid, and help us to become strong. I shall obey King Mateo the Leader of Andrepan. I will serve and protect the citizen of my Nation. I will love Andrepan until I die. CHEERS FOR ANDREPAN.” The garrison shouts and starts returning to their duties.

In the cafeteria, A Red Haired man in Table 8 reading a book that’s not from this world. Two men approaches him.

“Hey Eric.” The person in the right greets his friend

“What do you want Dave.”

“Nothing I just see you here all lonely.” Dave sat next to Eric. The other one sat in front for Eric.

“Hey Eric, Wanna play poker Jake bought a new deck of cards.” Jake holds a deck of cards.

Eric closes his book and puts in down. “Only if there’s wagers on the table.”

“Yes. Jake the chips.” Jake puts the chip on the table

Jake shuffle the cards and gives it to Dave.

“Ok. bet is 50/100 silvers.”

Dave starts to give their cards

“Double Aces. Nice.” Jake thought for himself. He looks at Dave

Dave puts out blind bet 100

Eric raises 200 silvers.

“Major is getting cocky.” Jake calls

Dave also calls and puts the flop. The cards are Ace of Hearts, 2 of spades and 10 of hearts.

Dave and Eric checks

“Hmm I got the advantage. Should I raise.” Jakes looks at Eric then Dave. Then he raises 200 silvers.

Dave and Eric calls. The winnings is now 1,500 silvers. Dave flip the another card it’s a 2 of hearts.

“YES.” Jake screams on his mind.

Dave raise 100 silvers

“LT you should’ve done that.” Jake feels euphoric

Dave flips the river and its 3 of hearts. The pot is now 3200 silvers

“NO WAY!.” Jake in disbelief he grabs his face as he saw the hand of Eric is a pair of 2s resulting a 4 of a kind. Jake kneels down on the ground.

Eric takes the pot while Dave chuckled.

The ground shakes, A loud siren was heard in the entire base. A man burst down the door.

“WE ARE UNDER ATTACK.” A man shouted outside the cafeteria.

The rest of garrison in the cafeteria quickly rushes to outside as they see Fireballs flying towards them and hitting the base.

“Griffin Knights.” A man screams and got hit by a fireball.

Anti-Air on the base starts firing at the griffin knights, the knights drop a barrel in the base. A soldier looks at it and he saw a light fuse. The barrel explode and turn the man into bits and pieces.

The Garrisons rush outside the supply hub and gets into the trenches.

As they see the Alliance Magic Barriers, Andrepan soldiers fires but absorbs the bullets power. Inside the barriers are 6000+ along with 150 mage at the rear.

“STOP FIRING, YOU WILL NOT DESTROY THEIR BARRIERS. Remember our stockpile of Ammunition is low.”

The soldiers stops firing.

“Jake, Radio in Heavy Artillery Battalion, We need a fire for effect mission at this coordinates, High Explosive and with enhancement magic.“ Eric shouts his orders to Jake

Jake quickly grabs the radio and sent out the request.

We see a line of 203mm B-4 Howitzer.

“Cast an enhancement spell on these shells” the loader says to the mage

The line of B-4s fires one by one like an orchestra. The shells flew high in the sky and travelling onto the battlefield. It hits the barriers and shattering it

Adrepan troops starts to open fire once the magic barrier gone. The Coalition troops starts charging to Andrepan lines.

“Snipers! Target their Mages and All of you change your mode of fire from Auto to Burst.” Eric shouted to the Snipers in the watch Towers. Eric knows those mages will take time before casting another barrier. The bullets shreds the charging Coalition Troops, their number starts to dwindle and all of them dead in a matter of minutes.

A soldier sees smoke in the distance, He looks at his binoculars and saw three section of cavalry, each section has different steeds and its rider. The soldier turns arounds

“Cavalry!” the soldier shouted

“You grab that M249 and set up for the incoming cavalry.”

As the cavalry is fast approaching, the soldier sets up the MGs Bipod fast but he panic and drops the magazine.

“Come on soldier, It’s not the time to make mistakes, Load the fucking gun and mow those horses down.” The soldier quickly pick-up the magazine.

“Yes Major.” The soldier grabs the belt fed magazine and load the machine gun. The soldier cocks the MG

“GET SOME MOTHERFUCKERS!” The soldier shouted as he starts spraying bullets to the cavalry.

Metal and meat getting pierce by bullets, the rider and its steed tumbling down at high speed disrupting the others to fall. The Cavalry’s number starts to declines but they are not stopping. The cavalry jumps over the barbwires, the MG still kept firing. One giant wolf jumps over the reaches the trench line, The soldier see the beastmen ready to strike a soldier. The rider and his wolf fell to the ground. The MG stops firing and the barrel lets out smoke. The Cavalry and First wave has been wiped out.

The Enemy Mages cast a thick fog onto the trenches. Obstructing their view on the battlefield.

“Anybody have visuals?” A commander use a radio

“Nothing Sir.” Radio Chatter repeat the same phrase

“Corporal Radio in HQ that we need armored support ASAP." Eric whispers to Jake.

“Echo-2 to Overlord-1, We need armor support. I repeat This is Echo-2 to Overlord-1, We need armor support.

“We hear you Echo-2, The 90th Tank Company are on their way, ETA 30 minutes.”

”Sir, Armor support ETA 30 minutes."

”Everybody on your guard and keep radio chatter to a minimal.”

20 minutes of silence and nothing happens in the frontlines.

“Shh..." Eric tells Jake to be quiet as they feel the vibration coming from the ground.

“Jake, Radio in the 155s. Fire for effect in this coordinates, High Explosive no enhancement”

Jake radio in the light artillery battalion.

“Major, 30 seconds before impact.” The soldier answer back to the commander

“Ok, everybody go back to your position, the real battle is about to start.”

The soldiers wait for the artillery, cautiously watch the fog for any movement.

"IMPACT" Jake shouted

Explosion happens inside the fog and cast large shadow. More and more explosions soon happen. The soldiers saw the same shadows in other position, Then one shadow was tilting and going down. A loud noise like a falling tree. The soldiers do not know to what is happening inside the fog and starts to prepare and aim towards the fog. Still no visual on the battlefield after the explosion, a few minutes the fog clears. The soldiers saw 100+ Armored Carriers going towards the enemy entrenchment. The Armored carriers siege vehicles that transport troops, has a very tough metal plate as a frontal armor.

“Armored Carriers!” A bunch of soldiers shout

“Stand your ground men, shoot the carriers wheel.” Eric commanded his company.

The Company starts shooting, its wooden wheel.

Carriers slowly move towards the entrenchment, the soldiers cannot pierce its frontal armor. Carriers immobilize, the immobilize carriers disembark there troops. Echo Company quickly shoots some of the Alliance troops getting shot before hiding behind a Carrier.

The carriers are now closing in 200m away from the trench.

"2 carriers immobilized." A private screams to Eric

"FUCK, Keep firing at the Carriers Wheels." Eric seems to be frustrated on how dangerous their situation is

Another problem starts to appear

“I’m running low on Ammo.”

“Those who got 2 or 1 magazine left, only fire in single shot and aim for the enemies-.”

“Griffin Knights!” A soldier interrupted the major while he points at the sky. The major sees the flock of Enemy Aerial Support.

“Shit those Alliance Mutts are going all out in this hub.” The Major thought for himself as the griffon supports dive down.

Anti-Air starts firing at the Flocks of Griffin knights, some of them evade and some got hit. The falling griffin knights ignite their fuse, exploding mid-air. The Griffin Knights starts to light the fuse on the barrels then they drop their payload, and landed near the trenches. The barrels starts to explode, killing and injuring some of the soldiers in the trenches. Soldiers scatters on the incoming barrels but limbs are flying over the battlefield, the sniper towers falls down. Smoke and Debris covers the trenches and help the encroaching carriers. The griffin knights withdrew successfully dropping their payload. The remaining soldier starts to reorganize and starts firing at the carriers.

The M249s runs out of bullets. The carriers are closing into the entrenched lines, Carriers starts exploding. The carriers triggered the land mines. It damage 5 carriers and got them immobilized; still the landmines are not enough to stop all those carriers.

100m the front Carriers stop and start disembarking troops. A single carrier disembarks 50 Alliance footmen. Drums and trumpets start to sing in the battlefield. A loud war cry heard and The Alliance footmen starts to charge.

The soldiers switch their firing mode to single fire and rely on their precision aim and conserve there ammo. The footmen are charging towards the trenches, some of the footmen falls down. But they are not slowing down.

The Alliance troops are closing in 50m.

A first Footman jumps and stabs the soldier and got shot afterwards, Alliance footmen starts to enter the trenches, Andrepan Troops quickly grab their pistols and some fix their bayonet. The footmen smiles and looking at the scared Andrepan troops. They start to charge stabbing and slashing the first wall of the Andrepan Troops turning the battle into chaotic CQC. A soldier gets stab while footmen get shots; a soldier stabs a footman in the neck he suddenly gets attack from behind.

“Major we are overwhelmed.” A soldier gives his report

“Shit, Tell the soldiers to keep firing at the troops and Hold the line.” The Eric ordered his Dave.

Swords and guns clash on the trenches, the alliance troop are well armored and well equip on close quarters combat.

"MAJOR! WE'RE SURROUNDED." The soldier shout then he got stab.

“Shit, I’m out of Ammo.” The soldier quickly grabs its pistol. Too late, he saw the footmen and got sliced.

“Shit, Shit, Shit, Where’s that Armor Support.” Jake thought for himself.

Eric and the rest of his company are completely encircled by the alliance troops, Jake saw a footman on top of him ready to stab him, he closes his eyes and accepting his fate. Then he felt wet, some liquid was sprayed onto his face. He open his eyes the enemy’s armor is full of holes and drop down on the trench. The soldier touches his face that was just the enemy’s blood.

Bullet Traces flew behind the first line, Eric peeks out the trenches. He sees footmen falling down from left to right. A Carrier explodes.

A noise heard on the radio. “Echo-2 this is Charlie – 1, Check your six we’re coming in hot. “The commander looks behind seeing their armored support of 14 T44-100s and 10 Humvees.

“Let’s round them up boys.” Said the Captain of the 90th. A cannon was fired by a T44 and destroying a nearby carrier. Humvees mounted .50 caliber machinegun fires towards the enemy infantry mowing the alliance troops. The endless wave of footmen and carriers attacking decreases some of the footmen became hesitant and start retreating.

“FUCK YEAH.” Jake jumps and yell.

“We got them on the ropes, Move out let’s run them over and save Echo-2.” The Captain of T44s said on the radio.

Eric grabs the radio and change its channel. “Thanks you, You save our butts.” Eric turns of the radio.

The captain smile and he ordered his squadron to advance. The Humvees stayed behind and cover the overwhelmed troops. While T44s running down the dead and alive footmen. The Squadron starts to destroys the retreating and immobilized Carriers. They move to the enemy camp.

Multiple Fireball are flying towards the T44s. They got hit and 4 T44s are destroyed.

“Let’s go back, we are in range of their mages and we can’t lose our T44s to the enemies.” The Captain gave his orders and fallback to the lines.

The rest of the garrison on the supply 2-4-0 takes a deep breath as the Alliance Troops falls back. Reorganizing and making casualty assessment

“You there, give me status report on our company.”

“The company suffers 150 casualties 10 injured and 140 KIA.”

“Shit, That's a lot of KIA. Good work private and after you finish writing down the assessment, grab me a drink, a cold one. Those Alliance mutts gave me a headache.” Eric sat down relaxing after that intense engagement.

“We almost lost that one Eric.” Dave and Jake walk towards him.

“Dave, leave me alone for a minute. I need to catch my breath. Also after you finish carrying the supplies, Gather all the remaining people and tell them will be stationed in hill 58.” Eric sits back and closes his eye.

"Yes Sir." Dave and Jake salute Eric and left him in peace

“Eric is way stressed after that battle.”

“Well it was a close one; we didn’t expect they will use their griffin knights to drop explosives. A lot of our brothers are killed in action.”

“Sorry.” The corporal looks down

“Don’t apologize, this is war, we always lose our brothers in battle. You are too worried about the major and me. The battle is done; we just need to take a breather after the next one. Major already told Jerry to pick him some cold beer.” Lieutenant grabs Ammunition from the Humvees of the 90th.

“You and the Major are really close?”

“The commander and I, both trained at the same boot camp when the alliance declared war, we have been in the same platoon after the boot camp. I know He just needs a cold fresh one after the battle to ease the stress out.” Dave casually walking and carrying ammunition from the 90th

“Oh by the way Jake, Grab those beers I can sense there will be a party later.” Then Dave continues walking towards the storage facility.

“How long do you think this war will end?” Jake grabs the beers and Ammunition.

“After the other side surrender.”

“Who is winning the war?” Jake runs up.

“We are spread thin in our frontlines against the alliance. We really don't have enough production of weapons and ammunition to launch an attack.”

“Oh speaking of weapon, those T44s from the 90th are awesome, I’m glad those are on our side.”

“Yeah they are awesome and glad those scary war machine are on our side.”

“What do you mean scary?”

The Lieutenant did not answer and just walk towards the depot

“Hey Lieutenant, What do you mean scary. HEY LT WAIT.” Jake runs to Dave

The battle of the Northern Gate ended on a Victory for the kingdom of Andrepan with a casualty of 166 casualties, 10 Severely injured, 156 KIA and 4 destroyed T44s. While on the Coalition Side they suffered 12,504 KIA and 113 destroyed Carriers.
