SilverFang: Barely, but I knew it was coming from your direction.
Kenneth: I know! You won't believe what the fuck had just happened in my dorm room.
SilverFang: You live in a dorm room?
Kenneth: Yeah, with other people but that's beside the point. One of the disciples I am staying with began yelling at us to look at the golden light. Just as I was about to join him, the other disciples said that they weren't able to see anything. Do you know if only players can see it?
SilverFang: Yes, I live in a small cave inside our Holy Land's branch, and if I look down there are a lot of disciples moving in and about. When the golden light was still there, no one seemed to be paying attention. In fact, I've even used my representative to record the reactions most of the disciples at that moment had and I have three disciples that I suspect to be players.
Kenneth: Doesn't that mean that the disciples I am with is a player too?
SilverFang: Seems to be the case. What are you planning to do?
Kenneth: Do?
Jing began biting the skin above the joints of his index finger in anxiousness, realizing the complexity of the matter he had just found himself in.
Kenneth: Do you know what is even more puzzling? That disciple once saved my life, and what is even more strange is that he knows I am a player too.
SilverFang: You're certain?
Kenneth: Yes, I went through the footage as well. The moment the other disciples said that they weren't able to see it, and it was such a big light he must've realized the same thing, and he turned to look at me with a horrified expression.
SilverFang: But why would he save you if he could have just killed you?
Jing knew that it was more complicated than that, and so he explained to him the nature of the relationship between them, and the reason Zho Tu's father wanted to kill him in vague details to avoid revealing himself too much.
SilverFang: Maybe he too was overwhelmed by the game and still hasn't processed the need to kill others to survive. Maybe he was certain you were a player and wanted to kill you himself? Did he have any other opportunities to kill you himself?
Kenneth: No, he didn't.
SilverFang: You have to kill him.
Jing clenched his jaws at that, understanding the necessity of it.
Kenneth: There are five other players in the sect. Maybe I can band together with him?
SilverFang: It would be a very bad idea. There is too much at stake. At the same time, The Dreamweaver Cataclysm's Fragment was taken by a player in your area, so even more players will converge there to fight for it.
Jing knew that it wasn't just in the same area, but in the same sect, and the outer sect territory to be exact.
SilverFang: Just do it man. No need to keep stressing yourself over it. Kill him, grab the advantage, and look for the Staff holder. God knows what can that staff do.
Jing knew that he still had much more to think about this particular issue, and at the same time he didn't want to selfishly dominate the conversation with his needs, and so he changed the subject.
Kenneth: You said that you suspect three disciples, any plans?
SilverFang: Yeah, the three of them looked in the golden light's direction with an amazed look. But I am not sure they're all entirely disciples because we had just returned from the dream-space and they were already in the middle of the sect, it would have taken them a while to get down from the caves.
Kenneth: Maybe they just sat in the middle of the sect? You know if I knew the event would take place and I suspected someone of being a player I would have made sure to pay attention to what they were doing at the time of the event. Maybe they were all outside to avoid raising suspicion?
SilverFang: Could be. But I will find out, I have my ways to watch them, and once I am certain I will begin making a plan to lure them out of the sect.
Kenneth: There is a way I have previously thought about.
SilverFang: What is it?
Kenneth: I had thought of maybe drawing something that the majority of people on Earth will recognize, and then gather all the disciples in our cultivation range and watch their reactions. Something like Luffy from One Piece on the ground... Or something even more famous, Like The Sphinx from Egypt? The pyramids even. By the same token, there is another medium, a song, but I don't know how I would go about that one. Something like Gangnam Style, but you need something that can record sounds.

SilverFang: Shit! That is indeed a solid idea. As for the voice recorder, I might have something in this body's old memories about a device that can record that. I will try to find it, and if I do I will send you one through the send items menu.
Kenneth: You do?! That would be a great help. If you need a drawing of something let me know, I am good at it!
SilverFang: Now that you put it like that, I have some ideas. Maybe I'll wait for them to leave their caves and I will tell Dulan, my representative, to record from afar. I will give them an envelope with some drawings and watch their reactions.
Kenneth: Sounds like a great idea! Let me know once you finalize the details and I'll begin working on it. For now, let me go, still gotta break through!
SilverFang: Alright that's a deal. Do you need any tips about breaking through? I have good knowledge about it.
Jing was about to start explaining that he had already broken through before but he changed his mind. That would lead to other unsavory questions that might result in his identity being exposed. Though he liked SilverFang, the circumstances in which they met guaranteed that their clash would be inevitable.
Kenneth: It's fine, I am well prepared.
SilverFang: Goodluck!
'I'll first breakthrough, then think about this Zho Tu business.' Jing thought with a weak sigh. 'But to think Stoned Gandalf is also in our sect...'
The previous experience was still very vivid in his mind, and from the reactions of the crowd, the big demon, and even the representatives he knew that the staff was something that would be game-changing.
"Aukhman," He whispered in the shared connection between the two.
"What is it?" The demon appeared before him with a wide meaningful smile.
Jing was about to ask about the staff when he remembered the question that had bugged him in the dream-space, "Who's that demon?"
"Morgrul," Aukhman explained. "He's not the Immortal Emperor if that's what you're asking about." His eyes flashed and he asked him something seemingly random, "Have you heard of an array formation before?"
Jing had a thoughtful look on his face before he said, "I think I have, were they those items that allowed you to gather a lot of energy to defend or attack in a specific place? They use discs to keep them connected and Spirit stones or crystals as energy?"
"Yes, those are the ones," Aukhman said. "The Immortal Emperor Kathur'Ka is actually an array formation."
Jing reflexively chuckled, "What?!" He asked in disbelief.
Aukhman continued, "When weapons, artifacts, and items reach a certain threshold of both age and strength they develop something called a familiar spirit. In short, they become sentient beings. The Great Emperor was once a very famous array formation that belonged to one of the experts of the higher realms called The Golden Jade Emperor. Familiar spirits naturally develop to become more loyal to their owners because they become very influenced by them. However, because The Great Emperor was a very good array formation experts always fought for him, and that continuous change of ownership made The Great Array Formation loyal to only itself, coupled with the fact that it was maybe even older than all of them combined, you can imagine the rest."
Jing's eyes glinted with astonishment at the story, "In the end, he gained control over his own freedom and killed them all?"
Aukhman flashed him a mysterious smile, "All, except the demon you had seen, Morgrul."
"He was also one of the experts that fought to own him?" Jing asked with wide eyes. "Why didn't he kill him?"
"From what I heard," Aukhman said. "Out of all of those experts, he was the one who although fought to own him, treated him well whenever he was in his possession, like the intelligent sentient being that he was. When The Great Emperor finally had the strength to overpower them all, he forgave Morgrul and took him under his wings."
"How about that..." Jing murmured with an amazed tone. "Anyways," He said. "How powerful is this Dreamweaver Cataclysm's Fragment?"
"There are three great legendary weapons in the Nexus Realm," Aukhman explained. "One of them is lost, the Wooden Vial. The Great Emperor himself, and The Dreamweaver Cataclysm. For you to understand how powerful these items are, you need to understand the immensity of the nexus realm to deeply comprehend what it means to be considered in such a vast and powerful realm as the three legendary weapons. Naturally, I can't show you that, so just imagine them very powerful. The fragment is of course a fragment, but it's a legendary fragment nonetheless. and in this lower world, it might as well be a divine weapon."
"I see..." Jing said with a solemn look, and deep down greed couldn't help but blossom in his heart. What would happen if he got his hands on this unimaginably powerful weapon? That question was something that he was going to find out for himself but to do so, the first order of business was strength! Everything came back to this central question, how strong were you?
The demon disappeared without being told to do so, and Jing closed his eyes in cultivation. Before he could even begin drawing the symbol to see how cultivated most of his body was, a series of dings began to echo in his ears.

Jing's mouth widened in shock before his eyes beamed in joy.
"It had begun!" The demon reappeared with a proud smile. He waved his staff and a new menu appeared in front of Jing.
The background was obsidian black, and the vibrant colors within it were constantly moving. There were graphs, lines, points, and an endless stream of numbers.
