Alex led me in the house , it was big almost the size of our house . There were around 6 rooms and I went through everyone of them to look for Bess and found them in the last one . Bess was crying and James who had put an arm around her was soothing her and hearing her blabbering on about how sorry she felt for what she did to me.

I silently entered the room.

"I am sorry for making you feel this despaired Bess." I said slowly, both of them turned around me

"No , you were right Kate even though I know about your fear of that thing I still let that happen I should be the one apologizing ." She said

"You could have not known about me being still in fear after all I was the one who told you that I got over the fear , so you did what would anyone normally would have done , I was the one who snapped at you , so I am really sorry ."I apologized bowing

"Okay then all of it is Kate's fault" She said

"Yes all of it is my fault " I answered absentmindedly

"So next time make sure you don't hide anything from me , okay " she said smiling

"Okay " I answered she hugged me

"For what its worth you made some progress with James , I mean you both were hugging " I whispered , Bess blushed

"Stop teasing me Kate " Whispered Bess

"It is the truth I swear, cross my heart and hope to die " I said swearing , she looked back at James who was looking at us. Bess blushed more, she pulled back and ran out of the room, now only James and I was standing in the room

"Thank you for taking care of her " I said to James bowing

"You don't have to bow , you know , I love her so of course I will take care of her , you can leave her to me" James said smiling

"Thank you, Bess is a good hearted girl but got a bad friend with her" I said sadly

"You are not a bad friend , in fact you are a good friend , if you were not you wouldn't have run coming to her and apologize to her ." James said

"You should better get running after her or she will puff up ." I said changing subjects , he nodded and went after her. I sunk on the bed

"You can come out of your hiding if you want that is?" I said loudly , Alex entered the room from his hiding place .

"I knew you find me out." he said

"I am so sorry for slapping and punching you before " I apologized suddenly , he smiled politely

"I can understand why'd you want to punch me , when I did something horrible to you so , we are even now aren't we ?" He asked

"We are ." I said and hugged him

"Don't you want to see where you actually are?" He asked suddenly in hope of changing the subject

"Yes , I want to see" I replied , he took me by my hand and took me through a room before he opened a door to balcony . The balcony was very big, a little similar to ours . He left my hand and backed up a little , giving me the full view to the scenery outside . We were in a familiar area , so familiar that I had been looking at this scenery every day from my  house . I looked to my left and saw my house , I was stunned. From behind me I could hear laughter . I turned around and in mock outrage, I said

"Seriously Alex , you bought a house , beside my own and didn't tell me earlier , I am going to kill you."

"You have been doing nothing but study the whole week so how could you have found out about where I moved, you don't even know that the day before yesterday I came to meet you, but you were so engrossed you didn't even pay attention to your boyfriend ." He said sniffling a little.

"I am sorry , I didn't mean to but I just wanted to keep my mind of you so I won't feel lonely , so I shut everybody out ." I said thinking he was hurt for real, instead he smiled slyly

"So, you were feeling lonely without me so much that you shut everybody and engrossed in studying " he said . Shit! I just walked right into his trap .

"No , I didn't feel that lonely , just a tini - tiny bit" I said blushing a little

"Anyway are you going to live alone or with James " I said my voice high , I needed a change of subject

"I am going to stay with someone but it is not James" He said

"So , who?" I asked

"My senior at the mountain, he is a nice guy and used to live in Ohio , but since I needed him here so , I asked him to come here ." Hearing the name of the place this person used to live froze me . This person used to live in the same state as me

"Tell me Alex by any chance did he live in Merion Village , Columbus , Ohio ?"I asked

"How did you know , by any chance you used to live there ." He asked

"Yes , I used to live there when I was small." I replied not able to lie to him , I saddened a little

"You did then you must have known Mason he was quite famous there ." Alex said not seeing that I had saddened a bit.

"Yes I knew Mason Helix he lived beside where we lived ."I answered

"Really , then you would have been great friends with each other ." He asked excited like a little kid , seriously he is such an airhead

"We were good friends , our relation was like brother and sister " I answered

"Same , when he still lived in mountain he treated me like his little brother ." He said so energetic , I didn't reply at all , I was getting sad by the minute , Mason brought too many bad memories , most of them were me crying in his arms over that person.

"By the way why did you move from Ohio to here in Utah." He asked , I wanted to avoid this question particularly , but what can I do now .Suddenly the door flung open and Mason appeared . Mason walked towards us and hugged both of us. I was thankful for his sudden appearance . He looked at both of us lovingly .

"Long time no see , Kate , Alex .I missed both of you so much." Mason said

"It has been long brother ." I said

"Did you already forget that I asked you to call me Mason " Mason said

"No, I did not, Mason." I replied finally he let both me and Alex go
