Prologue

The first rabbit Camila killed was white with fur like snow. His eyes big and brown, almost black staring at her as if pleading for its life. It was the night that the Blue Orleans High School Seniors celebrated their graduation through a rager in the woods. Her memory is useless; she has no recollection of where she first saw the rabbit, or what led her to the dark part of the wood despite her grandmother's warning to stay away.

But she can remember the soft subtle sweet voice calling her into the woods. It whispered her name, so sweetly as if offering pleasure or every desire in her mind. She had no choice but to walk towards the tall dark trees, holding her dirty heels in her hand.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

She excelled in anatomy in those woods, opening the rabbit like a doctor performing on a pregnant woman’s womb. Her fingers touched its intestines, wiggling until her nails touched its heart. Layered with disgust and curiosity, she lets the long meaty organ touch her mouth and then clash between her teeth. It was an enticing feeling that awakened her veins, resurrecting her organs until they pumped and worked at an inhumane pace.

The rabbit's beady eyes were still wide as if alive and watching her take him apart like a lifeless doll.
