Major Galahad in office at 0800 hours waited for his visitors. He calmly sipped his coffee from his mug as he checked his paperwork. He was awake as early as 0600 hours since Lyla took her day off. The Major heard someone talking from outside. It must be the guests that he was waiting, he anticipated.
When someone knocked on the door, Major Galahad said, “Please, come in!”
The door opened. Lieutenant Armstrong, Lucia and Vashni escorted Micah and Lyon. He looked for Mitchell within the group but did not find him.
“Where’s Mitchell?” Majir Galahad asked the group.
As Micah stepped in front and tried to speak, Lieutenant Armstrong interrupted him. He bowed his head and said with a sincere tone, “I apologize sir, it’s a long story...”
Major Galahad, in the back of his mind, knew already of Mitchell’s disappearance. By sending Captain Ellaine to shadow them at the town of Wales, she was sending him news and updates of Mitchell's group’s progress. What Major Galahad did not understand was the nature of Mitchell’s disappearance.
”I would like to talk with our guests. The rest of you, go outside.” Major Galahad ordered.
Vashni and the rest exited the Major’s office. He, Lucia and Lieutenant Armstrong were speaking in a low tone outside. After the others exited, Major Galahad stood up. “You may begin to speak.”
Micah recognized the aura of Major Galahad, it was different and she felt it was hostile towards them. She felt a sense of danger in front of her. Glancing at Lyon, he nodded, realizing of the same thing.
”No need to feel so tense before me, Ablers!” Major Galahad smiled at the two.
”How do you know?” Micah replied, threatened by Major Galahad.
Lyon felt a gentle breeze on his face. He noticed that the windows were closed. “A Sindler, huh?” Lyon wrapped his right hand with flames. Lyon’s face showed killing intent as he confronted the Major before him.
Before Micah could speak, and stop Lyon from attacking. A powerful wind suddenly snuffed the fire from his hand, opened the windows in the Major’s office, and blasted Lyon five meters away. Major Galahad brushed up his hair, exposing a bluish rune on his left temple.
“What do you think you’re doing? Lyon!?” Micah scolded Lyon.
”Sindler’s kin, they are evil and cannot be trusted!” Lyon angrily said to Major Galahad.
”That’s enough!” Micah yelled.
Major Galahad expressed admiration for Micah’s control of her emotions and asked, “Is she your superior? You should follow her example...” You should follow her example...”
”If we were in an appropriate place, I would burn you to crisps without any second thought.” Micah said and continued, “You Sindlers will always be the enemy of our kind. While we Ablers are trying to help the world during this Phantasmic era. You Sindlers stab our backs while we help the world during this pandemonium!”
“That’s very noble of you, and very petty of us! However did you even know the effects of what you have done so far?” Major Galahad replied.
”What do you mean?” Micah asked.
”While you Ablers are out hunting for stragglers, getting caught with unnecessary quests, killing off mobs and hordes of the undead. At least my Abler friend had done what most of you didn’t!” Major Galahad boasted and continued, “Your Orders, the Salamander and the Scarlet Orders. Unfortunately tried to fix the world with band aid solutions. While, we, no I am trying to fix the world removing the very disease it suffers from!”

”You mean, Mitchell? He was blind for following someone like you. I don’t know what he sees in you or what or how much you have given him. He needs to take responsibility for aiding a Sindler kin of his plots!” Lyon countered.
”Your friend doesn’t know a lot or a bright one is he? I believe it is best to keep his mouth shut!” Major Galahad commented.
”That’s enough, Lyon! “That’s enough, Lyon!” Micah said, “Once the Scarlet Order knows this, they will take care of him.”
”But is it your jurisdiction in dealing with the members of the Legion?” Major Galahad asked.
”The head of the Legion, Monsieur Michelle Laurent, will answer for your mischief, Sindler!” Micah replied.
”Where will you take your case?” Major Galahad asked again, testing Micah’s resolve.
”That...” Micah stuttered.
Lyon, seeing Micah stuttering and unable to speak further, tried to ignite flames with his both hands. “We may not be able to solve this legally. We can burn this place down for all I care!”
“Come and try!” Major Galahad smugly replied.
Micah slapped Lyon. As he recovered, he looked at Micah and yelled, “What was that for!?”
”He’s right Lyon. Let’s leave!” Micah said.
”What about him? We can’t just let him be!” Lyon protested.
”If I were you, I would keep my mouth silent about what transpired here today!” Major Galahad warned.
”What for?” Micah asked, undeterred by Major Galahad’s warning.
”I could not guarantee your safety nor your kind’s. After all, we Sindlers and you Ablers have signed no peace treaty! Should an Abler or a Sindler die because of such trivial causes will spark a war far destructive than that of the pandemonium? You don’t wish for the world to suffer just because of some grudges!” Major Galahad explained.
Micah sighed and replied, “We can kill you, right now if you want. The Order will not take responsibility, and the Legion will not concern themselves with such matters. For the sake of the world, however, I will refrain!”
“Good, that we have an agreement! With relief, Major Galahad smiled, knowing that they had successfully avoided a confrontation.
”By the way, Mitchell volunteered to sacrifice himself in our stead. He got taken away by some unknown being or force. However, I can still feel his faint presence... If you wish to find him, our Order can’t help you. Since you have the rank and authority, do as you please to find him!” Micah said.
Micah exited through the door, along with Lyon. Major Galahad focused his anger towards Micah and Lyon to his mug, which was flung to the wall and shattered. “Damn Ablers!” He cursed and tried to calm himself down.
Vashni crosses his arms as he leaned towards the wall. The others approached Micah and Lyon, Lieutenant Armstrong noticed that there’s something wrong. He did not bother to ask and wanted to talk about he Major about what they had discussed inside.
As Vashni knocked the door, Major Galahad told him to wait for a bit. After waiting for a few minutes, the Major allowed them all in and seated himself at his desk.
“I apologize if our small talk turned into an argument. I tried employing their help in locating Mitchell, but I guess it is up to us in finding him.” Major Galahad explained to Lieutenant Armstrong, Vashni and the others.
As Vashni felt the wind in his face, he noticed a malicious force in it. Aside from the smell of the spilled coffee in his surroundings, he could also smell the fire in the air that Lyon tried to use against Major Galahad. “A fight almost happened here!” Vashni thought observing his surroundings.
Major Galahad, noticing of Vashni’s eyes called his attention, “Is there’s something wrong? Vashni?”
”No sir!” Vashni quickly replied.
”Good!” Major Galahad smiled and continued, “We will continue our discussion...”
While Major Galahad and the others were having a briefing, Micah raced to her vehicle. Lyon protested what Micah has done earlier and threatened to report her to the Order. Micah tried to ignore him until she got fed up. “What’s you deal, Lyon?”
“What’s the deal? You let a Sindler go free, violating our protocols!” Lyon argued.
”You don’t get it!” Micah yelled at him and continued, “Do you believe that you stood a chance against him!? I tried to gauge our abilities, and the Major was no slouch!”
”There’s two of us and he’s only alone!” Lyon again argued.
“It’s not only about the numbers that mattered Lyon but the experience and ability! That man has everything, including connections.” Micah explained.
Lyon was silent towards Micah about what she said. Micah continued to explain and said, “This is not the time to fight him. We can try next time!”
As their vehicle left, Major Galahad was done with his briefing, and Lieutenant Armstrong and the rest left his office. Captain Ronald entered the office, dressed in his white uniform and nearly parted hair. He saw Major Galahad staring outside of his office.
He saluted at the Major first and when the Major faced him, he was told to ease himself. “Major, our preparations is done. Should we execute it?”
Major Galahad replied, “Nah, let them live to see the next day!”
Captain Ronald tried to object, saying “But sir, if you do that...” but the Major interrupted him.
”The two had saved me the trouble for providing me information about our asset,” Major Galahad said and continued, “Spare them for now!”
”Yes sir!” Captain Ronald replied.
”By the way, about that item I asked you. Is it ready?” Major Galahad asked.
”Yes, it’s almost ready!” Captain Ronald answered.
