The princess and her crew had gone back to the castle, the dracolich waited patiently outside, a crowd had gathered to gaze upon it and the creature seemed to enjoy their presence. The princess and the witch began the preparation for their journey, they were to follow the necromancers path of destruction and end him and his legion of followers.
“So we’re gonna put the dragon to use right” The witch asked. “I feel a bond with it, it’s like it’s me and I’m it, I i think we must share memories or somthing we understand each other” Jerome slipped from the witches grip and slithered over to the window then looked back to the princess. “This is not uncommon my lady, the spell I put on this creature swapped the creatures dark necromantic aura for your very bright pink aura, you were only able to do this due to the essence you left on this creature, I’m not going to lie Miss I’ve never seen this work with a creature this powerful before”. “Is that good” the princess questioned.

Jerome explained how all creatures could be reasoned with if the essence was powerful enough, this was partly why he was working with Cintlez because he had a similar bond that the princess and the dragon did, albeit a short time blood bond rather than a year of tears but this was a similar use of magic. But this concept had never been used on a non living creature of this size before so there was no promise that this would definitely work forever.
The princess looked to the dacolich outside, at its bright pink aura, its crown like flame shining above its head, the way it peacefully interacted with the villagers and saw hope.
”Have the men got their supplies yet” the princess asked her general. “Yes miss all guards are equipped and ready for battle”. “Cintlez how about you have you been given everything you need” “I have all I need, for now” “Alright I’ll go get my stuff and gear up the draco, We leave tommorow at the brake of dawn”
